Bazinga!
I hope he doesn't say when he talks about his time with her: "We did everything right" and we = the entire English team...... But that's really off topic...

Except, Cavendish has never ridden for an English team.

Hey, Norway - "we own the world of cycling".
Just one question: How many medals did you get at this World Championship?
This WC was the 2nd time in less than a month that the Norwegians were sent home from Copenhagen utterly humiliated
+1!!
All the peoples from Norway was SO quiet after the race. So funny to see, they just walked very very quietly away from the finishline. Let me just say: During the race it was just the other way around
Cavendish began road cycling at the Telekom development team and was sent to Team Sparkasse 2005-2006 to race in Germany/Britain and from 2006 (stagiare) he was at the T-Mobile team, so Cavendish haven't raced in a british team at the moment (road cycling)
So we can say the Telekom/T-Mobile guys made a good job and if we are sore losers, we can say he learned a lot here in Germany

(On a less important note: It was an amazing experience to be there along the route)
So, where did Matti finish? Or Mørkøv?
2nd time? Explain, if you please.
Yeah, having a 24-year old finishing 8th behind Cav, Cance, Goss etc. with nearly no help at all and being the best scandinavian rider was sooo humiliating.
(On a (not so) less important note: You remember that time the Denmark got a 1-2 in the TdF and 4 1/2 stage wins? Nah, me neither)

When was the first time?
Football, the qualificationmatch against Denmark.
Saying that norwegians were humiliated with these results in the Worlds, is quite a thing to say. 8th in the Elite RR, great racing from the juniors, aswell as the U23. A decent 13th in the women's race too. It's probably the best Worlds we've ever had, though, that's probably not possible to say after Hushovd's victory last year. Winning is definitely something special.

Ok performance in some races. But elite women and U23 we should have been better. A crash destroyed elite women. And bad positioning in the U23 race. Bugge have the same positioning skills as Kristoff...
Boasson Hagens sprint sucked and Hushovd's race was destroyed by a stupid puncture and Coke hunger.
At least we helped Britain in the chase, stupid off course, but I liked it.

Cavendish is still riding for Telekom/T-Mobile/Columbia/HTC, so yeah.

One of the oldest teams in the peloton is ending. When they started, Maurizio Fondriest was world champion, LeMond was considered finished, Delgado, Van Poppel, Roche and Kelly were considered the best riders in the world.
It's been a loooooong time.
