Wow-Has been very long since I was last online.
Even though I was watching the races and following the forum I was just too lazy to be online from my phone. Now that computer is back I am online here
Now about my thoughts for the race:
Quintana strong as I expected and my favourite for the win.
Contador still continuing to crash and he was terrible in Ezaro,Covadonga and Pena Cabarga.I really don't understand his tactics at Covadonga, since he was the first to attack and then blew up and even got passed by Chavez.
Froome looking good,I also like that he is also riding Vuelta after the Tour. But I think he will fade in the 3rd week compared to Quintana. The TT is his advantage though but he should attack today I think since Quintana may go full and gain 30 seconds-1 min on Aubisque.
Also Chavez disappointed me so far but he rode so little between Giro and Vuelta but then again he was very good at Ezaro so it is weird.
Valverde is just mindblowing. His 3rd GT and he sits 3rd overall.
Shame for Kruiswijk though he was in horrible shape and the explosive finishes of Vuelta don't suit him.
I like to Meersman and it is great to see him win 2 stages.
Also it is weird that so many hill-top finishes were won by breakaway.
Also it looks like we miss Purito

Avatar bet? Same rules as in tour.
Yes think you always. Froome is getting better and better in this race,
they are easy to see. I am as safe as before tour started now, so:

WARNING AGAINST SPOILING:
Well, I think Quintana will be better in the 3rd week because I think his recovery is better than Froome. Though Froome can win the race on the TT. And I don't like Quintana either so no avatar bets.
If Contador would have been leading the race I would have taken the bet since I am a big Contador fan.

Recovery? In Vuelta 2014, he was terrible in first week, but much better in three week and this year won Dauphine, won Tour, Olympic bronze and in pole position to win Vuelta.

And still lose to this unknown, crap rider...what his name was... Contador or something ?
Seriously man Quintana has always been BEST in the 3-rd week. Look Vuelta 2012, 2015. Giro 2014, Tour 2013, 2015. Last year he lost 1,36 to TOP form Tom D. That same Tom D. beat IN-form Froome with a minute in the Tour, so I guess you will be surprised that Q. wont be "destroyed" in the TT and will lose around 1 minute.

This is Andy's meaningful win. LBL 2009. Crushing everyone
Also this is racing, nothing wrong with Contador attacking in chaingate thing. And I am %99.9 sure Schleck was doping as well so nothing from the doping thing either.

Maybe that's because he had not ridden any race from 10/7 to the start of Vuelta and might still have been suffering from injuries? Last time Froome did a third week in the Vuelta after Tour (and Olympics) he was terrible in the third week.

Actually no. Look at Tour de Romandie and Volta a Catalunya.. In a GT Q. is yet to win over Froome but this Vuelta could very well be the first time.

I've said from the start that it'll come down to the Time Trial. Based on the time trials at the Tour, Quintana needs to be around 2 mins ahead to hold off Froome. At least that's my prediction based on a very complicated calculation formula of plucking time gaps out of the air
I don't know. I am not really a Nairo fan (he somehow to me lacks heart..and I don't like this) but.. he is much better TT rider than he showed in le Tour
