At no one in particular. Making a list of who got every rider I bid on would take too long.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That's why he's selling Sörensen.

That is what we mean the whole time. You don't just have to pay 700 but also 1000 as it is the wage for Cancellara. The 700 you bid will just go to the rider selling him.

You are way over your budget right now!
You only got 1460 left. By paying 1100 for Cancellara + his wage of 1000 you would be spending too much. |

Fat chance of that happening Emre! It looks like the only chance you have of sticking to your budget is if you will sell a rider or two, I don't see that happening as that would mean someone enabling you to have one of the top riders in the game.
--- Anyway, for future story game purposes, what do people think is the best way to do transfers, and why? |

@The Rider: Take as much leaders as you can in the beggining, there will always be people that need them and are willing to ridiculously overpay them (ahem, Cancellara, ahem)
I did not know if I am allowed to put such an offer in the transfer thread (Bikex?), so I'm doing it here:
Team Gazprom
Luke Rowe
74,1 290
some MO>74 rider that is not heavily overpaid. Money could be included as well, depends on the rider.

I didn't really like this one, since it depends too much on luck. You never know what all your opponents are bidding on, so you can lose a lot of riders. I think I'd like a draft better, it gives everyone a chance to get some team leaders. Add special rounds as well, like in UCPCL, that was a good draft imo.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I don't like the silent/hidden stuff. Relies, as ollfardh said, too much on luck. Like in ACL where i overestimated how people would value riders and am screwed. Again here it just seems a bit random, no-one is really that comfortable with the system and riders are a bit all over the place.
I like the complete transfer allowance of the MFS or Man-Game, for me it's really fun to watch, participate in and then edit. You get something really unique as an end result. Give people money and let them deal just in the riders themselves openly.
The UCPCL was fun to do, because of those 'special' rounds where i threw down "evil" restrictions (go damn that final round was incredible!). I like an organic draft a lot myself. There is a surprising amount of tactics to it.

No way, that's too much for Cancellara. I'll save some money for talents and researching instead of just paying 2100+ for him.
I am really curious to see what's your tactic, Emre. If you somehow fail, you'll be in huge trouble!

I haven't had experienced with the Man Game but i think the way TMM did the transfers for MFS was the best way and most fun. |

I hear people complaining about my transfer system?
I didn't want to make a draft because imo the results of drafts are always a little bit random and it is not possible to go just after the riders you'd like to have. If you are last on a list it would be possible you'd get the 33rd choice of your list. Mostly it would be impossible to get the top rider if you are behind in the draft order. Mostly the draft order is also based on luck, so don't tell me drafts don't rely on luck. In my system it was possible for you to go just after riders you like and it was easier to keep e.g. a region focus.
In MFS you already had a filled team to begin with Iirc so it is a lot easier to make transfers as there is not that much free agent buying.
Please tell me how on earth could I make with my limited possibilities a transfer system like the mangame? I can't just open a thread and tell you bid on free agents, it would get way to messy and you would also complain.
I know it wasn't perfect all the way but I tried the best to make it fair and I still believe I did a pretty good job, although you all seem to be complaining now. |

From my point of view it worked really well. And I like the excel sheets. So I'm still pretty impressed of how you organized that.
By the way, how long is transfer time going to be?

Maybe a thread for transfers where everyone would post their bids and the rider will go to a team with highest bid after 24h (something similar to MG, but with only one thread) - would be a better solution, but I enjoyed this one, too.
