Bringing my real PCM12 playing to a close. Finished off the Tour with Vodafone.
Cavendish bagged 6 stage wins and the Points Jersey. Martin won 2 stages. Kelderman finished 4th GC and won the White Jersey. Total of 9 stage wins and 2 Jerseys. Pretty decent way to wrap things up.
I lied, actually topped off really late last night by finishing the season in triple quick time
Porte won the Vuelta thanks to a tt heavy route (well, for the vuelta), with Sagan 10th GC who got 8 stage wins and the Points Jersey and Youth as well.
Sagan also won Eneco tour and San Sebastian.
Markus podiumed in Vattenfall and Quebec.
Chelyakov stole a breakaway win in Montreal, awesome!
Cavendish won 6 stages in ToB to take that GC as well.
Martin lead a Vodafone 1-2-3-4-5 at the WCITT. 2nd Kelderman, 3rd Porte, 4th Thomas, 5th Phinney
Sagan won his third Road Race in a row, as Swifty grabbed 4th!
Aru finished 2nd in Lombardia.
Thomas won 2 stages in Beijing and the GC.
Ended up with Sagan number 1 rider in rankings, and Team number 1 (suck it Quickstep!).
Perfect way to say good bye to PCM12
Wow, amazing results, especially the WC ITT 1-2-3-4-5! How did you managed to do that? Also, couldn't you just let Kelderman win the WC, to make me happy?

Martin 85TT, Kelderman 83TT, Porte 83TT, Thomas 80TT, Phinney 81TT and all with 88-92form
The only other 80+ TT'ers are Cancellara (out injured), Van Garderen (6th) and Froome (62form, 11th)
Couldn't do anything about Kelderman, computer controled. I managed GB obviously. He did finish 12th in the RR, and could have won the 2016 Tour if i gave him the proper support, instead of Cavendish
Enjoying my Tour de France so far. Got Brajkovic to second place in the first mountain stage (group sprint of 15 behind Contador) and the next day, I let Fuglsang go with the breakaway group. He won all the mountain sprints, dropped his breakaway companions on the final climb and finished off an impressive solo with the stage victory and the polkadot jersey. Was hoping for yellow too, but he got stuck on second place, two seconds behind Andy Schleck. I cursed.
In the time trial, Sky took things into their hands with Wiggins now being in the lead, followed by Froome. I expect Froome to be their main man though, as Wiggins already did the Giro and should lose form soon. Fuglsang and Brajkovic are now 7th and 8th after a disappointing time trial performance. I will keep Brajkovic going for the GC and will probably deliberately let Fuglsang lose some time on the Ventoux stage to get some room for breakaways in order to defend his jersey and bring it to Paris. He wouldn't hold on to his top-10 place anyway.
I'm struggling with the time trials on hard difficulty. On normal I would usually win, or at least not lose so much that it would be a problem.
In addition the pcmdaily2013 has a lot of variants with very long, flat time trials. Since last season I've learned a lot about how to do the mountain stages on this level, and all looked to be going great, but on the two TTs (32 and 41km) Henao lost so much he eventually finished 6th in the GC. He lost something like 8 minutes on them in total.
Spoiler
Keldeman is still at Blanco and he finished 3rd, Jesleyh

Amstel, Fleche Wallonne and L-B-L was a failure.. only managed top 25.
Have manged plenty of stage wins, but I don't know if I have won a single flat sprint with a sprinter. I don't what I'm doing wrong, or if my sprinters are too weak on this level. There are always a few 80+ sprinters in every race, but on normal I would usually win a few.
Yeah, that's what I thought. They have some weaknesses. I usually make a sprint train with 3 riders, I.e. Vermont-Zabel-Kreyer. I usually have to up the pace with the lead out to 95-99 at 3-4km to be able to keep up with the pace. If I sprint early with Vermont (2.5km) or Zabel (2km) I usually take the lead, but get easily overtaken in the last 500m. If I try to wait longer the others get away when they start sprinting and I have no chance of catching up. My best results in sprinting has come when I've managed to get on the well of riders like Sagen. They never have enough energy to overtake him at the end, but the wheelsucking will at least result in podium or top 5.
The season has been much better than expected. I'm surprised at how good De Gendt has been. I still think high flat stat makes a big difference, both in conserving energy before the mountains and getting a gap and maintaining it on hill stages with flat parts towards the end... Won a lot of stages with him by attacking in the last 10km.
Just got to the 2016 Vuelta and Sojasun have brought FIVE riders! Unsurprisingly, they came last in the TTT but how can that be possible?
The only other race that was going on when the Vuelta started was the Volta a Portugal and they're not in that, so they have more than twenty riders to pick from, including Chaves and Roche, but they didn't bring any climbers.
Hi guys i have big problems with sprints I play Team Argos Shimano. Now i am in Tour of Oman and my Degenkolb can't win with Goss and Boonen. Can you give me some advice ? My train 1.Gretsch 2. Backer 3.Ahlstrand 4. Degenkolb
Gretsch effort train to 3 km , then i sprint with Backer to 2 km then Ahkstrand to 1 and from 1 km to finish i sprint Degenkolb and allways 4-5 on finish
Now that I've started on PCM2013, I've retired my PCM2012 career. I completed four season using PCM.daily's 2013 DB with RadioShack-Leopard.
2013: Didn't play any mind to any of the week-long stage races; my goals were entirely the cobbled classics for Cancellara and the Tour/Vuelta for the Schlecks (since Frank would miss the Tour). I did score a big win with Fabian at Milan-San Remo thanks to a late attack. Spartacus had top 3s at RVV and either E3 or Gent-Wevelgem (I forget which) but won Paris-Roubaix. In the Giro, I accomplished nothing and it was the only grand tour in my four years I didn't win a stage in. Hesjedal got off to a fast start, but then Nibali took over and dominated. Wiggins and Sanchez completed the podium.
At the Tour, I won the final stage on Corsica in a late attack with Jens Voigt in the first week, but also lost a ton of time with Andy and lost any chance at a Tour podium finish. Andy did win one stage, at least, en route to a seventh place finish. Contador crashed in the second week and lost the yellow jersey but regained the few minutes he lost in the final week. Greipel took the green jersey easily, as OPQS struggled to use Cavendish effectively. In fact, Tom Boonen finished higher in the points competition and even won the first stage.
In the Vuelta, Frank and Andy won a combined 5 stages, but a 5 minute time loss on one mountain stage (my fault) cost them a chance at the win. Daniel Moreno won the race. Gilbert would go on to win the World Tour individual classification, while Peter Sagan would win the road race WC.
2014: Andy refused to re-sign with me, so I decided to take a different direction. I signed Cavendish, who wasn't being used effectively at OPQS, and planned on using Nizzolo as his lead-out man for the Tour. Peter Sagan won his first of three straight World Tour championships, while Alejandro Valverde scored the rainbow jersey.
Tony Gallopin was one of six riders to breakaway to the finish at Milan-San Remo, and I couldn't chase them down to give Cav a chance at the win, so I left Tony to sprint for it. He did indeed win in a huge upset. Like the year before, Fab watched Tom Boonen win E3 and RVV before beating Boonen at P-R.
Robert Gesink ran away with the Giro. The Tour variant was the 2012 edition, which was very interesting. Wiggins had moved to OPQS who built their team around him, leaving Froome as uncontested leader at Sky. Contador struggled and didn't win a stage, leaving Froome in the leader's jersey for most of the race. But the final time trial was key, and Wiggins once again rose to the occasion and won the yellow jersey (along with the stage). Cav won four stages and the green jersey.
At the Vuelta, Kiserlovski and Machado both took podium spots in a stunning performance they couldn't repeat, but Jesús Herrada won five stages and wore the leader's jersey for 16 stages.
2015: I added Wilco Kelderman and Ian Boswell to strengthen my GT squad. Wilco did win a stage at the Giro and the Tour. Boswell won on a breakaway at the Giro and stole the climbers' jersey at the end of the Vuelta. This year, I kept everyone in check to set up a bunch sprint at San Remo, but Cav was exhausted and only took third. Cancellara improved to win both RVV and P-R.
Fabio Aru, Jurgen Van Den Broeck, and Bauke Mollema traded the Giro lead back and forth, but it was Mollema who came out victorious. In the Tour, Contador put the hurt on Froome in the mountains, giving him just enough of a lead to hold on to in the time trial as he was tired by then. Cav only won one stage in a disappointing Tour, but he easily won the green jersey.
Jesús Herrada wore the leader's jersey at the Vuelta for 19 stages this time in complete domination. After his disappointing Tour, Cav rode and won two stages early on before fatigue really slowed him. At the road race, Van Den Broeck won.
2016: Despite winning three straight editions of P-R with me, Fabian refused to re-sign. But one free agent, who struggled at Cannondale, came back to me. Andy Schleck returned with two goals: the Ardennes classics and the Tour.
At M-SR, another bunch sprint, another third place for Cav. At RVV, Spartacus won again but Tom Boonen scored the win at P-R, which is huge since he is starting to decline. Andy won both Amstel Gold and LBL thanks to the help of Kiserlovski.
I entered the Giro with a team built around Kelderman, with Boswell as his chief support. That quickly went out the window when Boswell took the pink jersey from his captain in the mountains while Wilco struggled. By just 22 seconds, Ian Boswell became my first GT winner! In a relatively flat Giro, I awesome won the points jersey with Giacomo Nizzolo thanks to some smart riding even though he only won 1 stage.
At the Tour, Cav went crazy. Following the same route as 2013, he won stages 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 21. He was a member of the TTT winners of stage 4 and a crash on stage 5 was the only thing holding him back from a week 1 sweep. In the mountains, 2014 Vuelta podium finishers Tiago Machado helped Andy go blow-for-blow with Contador, who had a stronger squad. Andy wore yellow in Paris for the first time by just 29 seconds over Contador!
The Vuelta was a mess. So many riders showed up fatigued. Even after his Tour, Cav wasn't done and won six stages and the points jersey. Ian Boswell and Robert Kiserlovski both took two stages apiece and looked ready for an easy 1-2 finish. But Boswell was tired after the Giro and Robert cracked on one stage, leaving Rein Taaramäe to take the lead at the final time trial. Jesús Herrada missed the Vuelta after a bad crash at the Tour.
To end the year, the road race WC was on a flat course at Doha. However, none of the major sprinters wanted to go. In fact, the best sprinter in attendance was Daniel Oss, who indeed won the race.
That's weird. I've also just finished 2016 as I prepare for 2013 to arrive on Monday! And I had the Doha WC as well. Like. Watching. Paint. Dry.
I think I completed the game anyway!!
I won all three GT's + a lot of other WorldTour races, including M-SR, AGR, P-R, TA and FW.
Just thought I'd finish with the best transfers in the career. Bouhanni to Raleigh is probably at the top of the pile, narrowly ahead of Cadel Evans to Rapha Condor Tony Martin to Bontrager is another peach.
Barguil to Adria, Tschopp to An Post and Wiggins is winding down his career at Schuller (ex-Bretagne). Voigt is still riding obviously, at nearly 46, for one of the German Conti teams. Great stuff.
ps. seeing as this thread seems to have become a "How is Kelderman doing?" thread (jesley ), he just signed for Sky, who are now Vodafone and is their absolute leader.

Just entered season 2014 with my custom team. First it was named Diadora Pro Cycling, but now I got new epic sponsors and the team name is Watmar. I've just finished the first 1-week races and some cobbled races. This save is made with the standard DB, also wrong names.
I started in 2012 as a OP continental team, with riders like Sagan, Kreuziger, Henao, Cancellara (Carbonara in DB) etc. It was easy to become a WT team. My greatest results that year must have been winning Giro de'Italia with Pozzovivio. He won it after Froome fell and Cobo had a bad day. They couldn't catch him on the TT. I also came 6th in the Tour with Kreuziger. Sagan won Milano-San Remo, Cancellara won Ronde Vlaanderen and Paris Roubaix. Pozzovivo finished 5th in the Vuelta(Bad shape). In that transfer window, I lost Kreuziger, but I signed some very good youth riders and EBH, Smukulis, Cataldo and Phinney.
The 2013 season was a big walk on sunshine. The biggest victory was Pinot's win with 40 min too Pozzovivo(2nd) and Nibali (3rd) in the Giro. Nibali later won TDF in 2013 though. Pinot also won the Vuelta with 14 minutes too Manchado(Also my team) and Brajkovic. Sagan won Milano-San Remo and Cancellara took the Flaanderen triple. Pinot and Henao also won many 1 week races. Pinot got the Velo d'Or.
Here is my best riders of the 2014 season. This year Sagan won Milano-San Remo again. Henao won TDU, Sagan won Tirreno Adriatico, Henao won Vuelta a Cataluña. Cancellara had won E3 and Gent-Wevelgem. That's what I have finished this year.
kgyt: How can you survive economical with that team?
I made a custom team, with EDB, Thor Hushovd, Kristoff, quintana, Boom, demare, bouhanni, pinot and coppel. None of them are extremely high salary riders. The rest is youthriders. Im bankrupt in April..
What can I do regarding the finance?? I have a problem with this every game really
They have this great beer here in England, I really love it. Its called Pint.
