What happened to Di Luca?

titleist82
dropped very early in the climb
(i betted on him my last 5 pcm$ !!!)

my final gc prediction:

1 Levi
2 Krujs
3 Cunego

I really hope cunego or krujis could get it but levi seemed in good shape and the tt is quite long...

Ok Cunego is not a specialist @TT
but he's not that bad?
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

RIP WW. Gone but not forgotten

I don't see Levi winning. 32k isn't THAT far.

He didn´t even finished the race for whatever reason. Maybe ha was too exhausted after the Giro and 7 TdS stages.

This. And Cunego isn't Purito. I think it'll be more like Cunego 1st, Levi 2nd and Mollema/Kruijswijk 3rd.

In the end the podium could be without dutch guys, i mean Fuglsang could move ahead of both Rabos.

I still think Leipheimer will erase the deficit in the time trial, but I'm usually wrong.

Riis123
Cunego
Leipheimer + 20
Fuglsang + 50

Go screw these dutch guys. Hate them Pfft

I'm starting to become a fan.

Rabobank tried to attack but couldn't stay away. Too bad.

Yup, because the Schleck genius decided to help Cunego for his so awesome 4th place

No, he helped Fuglsang, who has a decent shot a top 3. Of course they're not gonna let Kruijswijk get away, when they have 3 riders in the group.

Fuglsang has no chance at all at top 3.

He would have if Mollema and Kruijswijk were bad ITT-ers, but fact is they are not.
So a hopeless tactic

Do you have any idea of the ITT capabilities of Kruijswijk and Mollema I wonder?

Here we go again..

Kruijswijk is not bad actually but obviously not good enough to keep a 20'' over Levi
However i didn't see Mollema TT'ing but he's certainly not Cancellara or Martin....

Fuglsang is a very good time trialist, champion of denmark and it's 32 km ITT so Mollema's 1 min over him is not a big advantage at all

After Sunday it will be:

1. Cunega
2. Leipheimer
3. Kruijswijk/Fuglsang

Here we go again indeed:

B.Mollema 2011 TTs

13 Paris - Nice, Stage 6 : Rognes - Aix-en-Provence I.T.T.

1. [GER] MARTIN Tony THR 33'24" 40
2. [GBR] WIGGINS Bradley SKY 20" 25
3. [AUS] PORTE Richie SBS 29" 15
4. [GER] KLÖDEN Andreas RSH 46" 10
5. [FRA] PERAUD Jean-Christophe ALM 55" 5
6. [NED] WESTRA Lieuwe VCD 57" 3
7. [USA] TALANSKY Andrew GRM 01'05" 2
8. [EST] TAARAMÄE Rein COF 01'10" 1
9. [USA] LEIPHEIMER Levi RSH 01'10" 0
10. [USA] VAN GARDEREN Tejay THR 01'29" 0
11. [KAZ] VINOKOUROV Alexandre AST 01'29" 0
12. [SLO] BRAJKOVIC Janez RSH 01'32" 0
13. [NED] MOLLEMA Bauke RAB 01'38" 0

Lost only 28s to Leipheimer and only 9s to Van Garderen, TT was hilly and similar to the one in Suisse tomorrow

4 Vuelta a Castilla y Leon, Stage 4 : Zamora I.T.T.
11km, lost only 15 seconds in a flat ITT to Contador and 13s to Porte. about 15s faster than Coppel here.

8 Tour de Suisse, Stage 1 : Lugano I.T.T.
22s to Cancellara, but only 5s to second place Sagan. Was faster than Leipheimer

His form now is much better than it was in Paris Nice, and there he already limited the damage to Leipheimer to less than half a minute

You are clearly underestimating Mollema here
And again, I at least use facts and figures when I have an opinion, I don't invent stuff.

Yes it could happen Leipheimer passes both, I think that's very real. But Fuglsang? He'll have a very very very hard time. Just look at the FACTS above

Looking at the facts, and wonders:

When did Fuglsang ride a TT against Mollema where both fought for positions?

For that part the "facts" are rather useless, and your guess is as good as mine I reckon. I would have Fuglsang as quite the better Timetriallist. Whether he is good enough is uncertain though. He does seem a bit all over the place, form-wise, this Tour de Suisse. He could potentially be 2nd on the TT, but just as likely 25th.

You can always cherrypick results and argue for every opinion. Like you could look at last years 27 km time trial in Tour de Suisse:

7 Jakob Fuglsang (Den) Team Saxo Bank 0:00:52
65 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Rabobank 0:03:07

Over 2 minutes on a time trial shorter than the one this year. It's definitely not impossible for Fuglsang to get a top 3.

ruben
Last year Mollema had a horrible TT position which is why it can't be used as an example. Also, Mollema last year had ridden the Giro by that time and wasn't in the best shape anymore

It isn't that hard to comprehend is it?

alexkr00
And last year Fuglsang was riding for a place on the podium, while Mollema had no reason to go full speed in that time - trial.
