Kristoff,EBH,Arvesen and Hushovd is in my opinion the 4 elite riders.
Wait for 2011 Vuelta a Espana Kristoff will impress you.

can't blame bettini, italy's tactic was fine, all major attacks were lead by italian riders (except for Gilbert's).
unfortunately pozzato proved once again to be a perfect looser.
as a partial excuse, picking freire's wheel on the sprint at first glance seemed a good decision, then it turned into a big mistake.
i don't think that bennati or petacchi could have hanged in the main bunch and compete for the sprint as thor did.
italy simply hadn't a strong enough rider, pozzato could have taken 2nd place with a better placement on the sprint, though. |

I think the italians were too active too early. Pozzato could have sprinted with Gilbert for the win if he were fresher and went with him in the last lap. |
