I didn't know there was a WC bug in 2010 in v3.2. |

Yep. there is. I actually posted a reply about it in the "How to fix..." thread but no one seemed to care or read it.

It's not exactly the same. The game is supposed to pick Melbourne as WC host in 2010, but for some reason, in some cases, it doesn't.
It's changed in the next version with no 'chance taking'
And a comment to p3druh: It's not about 'caring' or 'reading'. I both read and cared, but come on - the DB is withdrawn, and the only sensible thing to do is to remove the DB and use something else instead. I don't mind that the members help out each other if you really want to use it, but I'm not going to waste a lot of time helping out people using a withdrawn DB.

Thanks for the explanations.
So it is just about changing it in Hannes with correct data for Melbourne. You were helpful with this explanaton more than you can imagine. Now I have to just simulate one season for getting Melbourne and after that taking data to my other save
And yes - I still think that db 3.2 is the best one what you ever made. No development to monsters no disbalance between youths and veterans... |

I'm not pissed about it or anything. From a few posts you made, I already knew that you don't want to waste time helping people out when you're working on a new db. That's fine. But what I said is true: either you didn't read it or you did read it but didn't give it too much thought. In your case, the last option.

You don't have to simulate a season with another save game. You can find the needed information in STA_worldparcours (or something like that). You can also use the one from 2009 |

I dont know if it was written higher or not but I'd like to signal that stages 1 and 4 on "Tour of Taiwan" bugs on my V3.2. Game crashes when I want to play them, but it works on simulation mode.
I played a strange stage in february (don't remember its name). Totaly floaded ! I'll try to find it again.
Last but not the least. I'll try to do stages for "circuit de lorraine" 2009. Is that done yet ?
Thanks |

In my game crashed stages 1,4 and i think 7 and 8 in Tour de Taiwan too. I have replaced them by similar stages in DB editor. Only thing you have to do is rename gene_sz_stage_xml in STA_stage table (it is useful, but not necessary, to correct gene_f_distance in same table too according lenght of stages you will use).

can I possibly create a stage racer training program by opening STA training exercise. whithout making the game crash.
and if I alter the table what are the actual change and the maximum value I can put in ie (can I go above 3)
and the option stage racing is still in the table STA training exercise so why is it unavailable

Why not put the V3 up for download, and then can the people who want's to play with it and pass some dates with an editor?

Simple: Because you don't release databases that don't work. |

Please use the search function from now on - it's been asked extremely many times

You haven't done anything wrong: the camera angle can be changed to whatever you want it to be.
To move the camera overhead (or anywhere else), simply hold down the ALT key and left mouse button and move the mouse to an angle you wish.
You can also zoom in/out with the scroll on the mouse whilst holding the alt key. |
