I thought he'd signed months ago. Or am I confusing him with Nardello again?

I can't believe that armstrong will be good enough to win the tour, because he had such a long racing break if he wins it again i would be really astonished if he could do it. even Bruynel said that he is worried because of armstrongs long racing break. And i read that armstrongs first target is to publish the fight against cancer
I think riders who end heś career actualy cant stop training just like that after long career..they just cant stop that train to fast. He hasnt race'd for shure..but he is still of some condition.
He has Levi helper..give me a break. Like Aquarius sayd ..he is Lacnce..dictator and control freek is back..and Contador should be worried like he realy is at this moment. |

Now guess what : Alexander Vinokourov is planning his come back in the peloton next season ! And I'm not even kidding... He'll also be at Astana, I mean he said in the team of his heart, I doubt it's Columbia or AG2R.

Apparently, he's aiming for the Giro and the Worlds, and will not race the Tour. |

Would have been fun with that team at the Tour: Vinokourov, Armstrong, Klöden, Leipheimer, Contador.
I'm still waiting for Ullrich |

I'd bet that they bring a super team like that to the tour, and not even win.
how awesome would that be

Where has Vino said that he will make a comeback? I really doubt this....
If this is true, three things is certain
1) He will never ride for Astana as long as Bryneel is team manager.
2) The UCI will probably reopen his case, and give him the two year ban he should have had in the first place.
3) He will never ride the Tour de France again.

Nope, he got a 1 year suspension by the Kazakh federation, and UCI didn't appeal it, because he said that he would retire. |

Here's my view on this situation. From the years 1998 to 2005, Cycling was one of the, if not the most doped up sport on the planet, and now, finally all the riders, teams, and organizations are getting there heads together and are finally starting to move in a good direction. Now however, we are seeing rider after rider who were from the 98-05 period come back, they are now even older, and plenty of them are coming back from bans. All these comebacks, Basso, Lance, possibly Vino, etc., etc., are going to be a horrible thing for cycling, as they are going to erase all the forward progress that has been made the last few years. |
