It's Michael (why Mikkel?!), but yes, it's true that Riis said that. Rasmussen does require a lot, and he is very self-centered. I'd say, though, that he seems a little more down to earth this year. He's much more interested in speaking with the media, and he answers politely - and yes, that's new
Other teams? They are not willing to give him a salary like the one he gets now
don't know. hadn't ever seen any danes named Michael. Mikkel I have a feeling I've seen. you have to realise that I've never been to denmark. the danes I know are the tourists and students around here (not that few, really)
anyway, I don't see any other teams wanting him, really. actually, if he wasn't at Rabobank, I wouldn't see Rabobank wanting him.
he just comes across as if he looks down on everyone. even on interviews he always seems to talk to the reporters as if they're 5 year-olds who should know everything about what they're asking.
and no, this doesn't affect my views of him as a very talented cyclist
weirdest thing: I remember reading that at the Tour 2005, after that horrible final TT, he went on the highway with his bike to slalom between cars
Never heard of Michael Laudrup? |

Yes, that's right. There's no pics of it, but it must have been pretty crazy. |

You guys really know shit about Rasmusen, i'm surprised. He's not ego at all. I've read interviews of Robert Gesink and Thomas Dekker were they both claimed that in all other races Rasmussen is very helpful and even gets water bottles and such. He also gives them many tips on how to race and is very friendly.

I'll just repeat myself. That's my opinion, based on the interviews given to Danish television. |

so...you're going by what you've READ and you confidently state we "know shit". great. I'm starting to see why you think his attitude is normal.
none of us ever claimed it as an obvious truth. you'll notice that if you re-read it. it's pretty clear we voiced our OPINIONS. |

Rasmussen isnt selfish, he is infact a very helpful guy, even his team mates know that. just read this:
Heavy crash Kai Reus in French Alps
While training in the French Alps on Thursday, Kai Reus (picture) fell hard. In the crash, he suffered a hemorrhage on the left side of the back of his skull. He also broke his left collarbone and three ribs on his right. Kai immediately received surgery in a hospital in Grenoble on Thursday evening. Right now he is kept in an artificial coma. A CT-scan made last night showed that there are no further complications.
Feel sorry for the guy but life goes on.

You guys are really ignorant, sorry. |

I wasn't referring to whoever's opinion is more valuable. I was saying that we're entitled to an opinion, unlike what you seem to think. now that you're at it, I highly doubt anyone would be as stupid as to publicly criticise their team leaders.
anyway...

Reus is stable. they're planning to wake him from the coma today. let's hope for the best.
also, Cavendish abandoned. |

VERY weird. Weening just keeps hammering and the gap has been hovering between 1:30 to 2:00.
they initially weren't being let go, but then Klöden dropped out of the break and away they went. |

Horrid luck for Millar, technical difficulties at the foto of the climb.
