I seriously hope that Wiggo doesn't take his Sky-train with him when he rides the Giro.
Henao is going. Cataldo too.
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

Fun fact:
Joining SKY has the opposite effect of joining Radioshack. |

One example. Entire history of the sport to choose from. Go.
I can't do this one sir! Really I cannot .
I think Sky have assembled a pretty strong stage racing outfit here. No doubts comparable if not even better than some of the past super teams such as T-Mobile, US Postal, Leopard Trek (we all know they could have been so much more), La Vie Claire. All obviously with doping records.
I cannot sit here and vouch for their doping, I cannot do that for any cyclist - nor do I try. I just simply refuse to sit here and try and work out which riders dope and which riders do - I really have no idea. (yeah you can quote those last five words)
All I am saying and it will no doubt fall on deaf ears is that for the past year all I've seen is this repeated over and again almost every time a sky rider wins the first four pages are filled with Sky dope.. Sky dope...this is boring this is boring. Instead of things like great ride from Porte today. Sky got that one spot on.

Apart from this Sky doping issue, let me say that Cattaneo rode pretty well today, 21st place. |

But cycling, and especially a time trial is nothing romantic, funny or anything. It's about producing the most constant and elevated power for a given length.
And there Porte has been so much more powerful than anyone else in the race.
And, even though you could argue big names like both his British leaders, the Spanish guys and Nibali weren't here, his opponents are still talented professionals. Such a gap looks... supernatural. |

Surprisingly good climb from Chavanel
Either he's peaking too early for the Flemish races, either he's reached a new level.
Any idea if he's still powered by Ibarguren ? |

You wouldn't want to know about NBA and doping, but NBA's board stance on the matter is about as bad as FIFA's, to give you an idea. |

New York Yankees 1920's - 50's?
Manchester Utd for the past 20 years
Liverpool in the 70's and 80's
Real Madrid 1950's
Wigan rugby league 80's and 90's
Brazil football team 1958-70
GB track cycling 2000's (oops i forgot that according some on this forum Wiggins is guilty so forget them)
New Zealand rugby union team for about the past 100 years
Montreal Canadiens 50's and 60's
West Germany football team 1972-80
France football team 1998-2000 (although i hope i'm wrong with that)
the USA Olympic basketball team that went undefeated from about 1936 to 1972
i'm tempted to list Italian football clubs in European competitions during the 90's but i have my own suspicions |

Not gonna be possible due to the prevalance of heavy drug taking teams throughout its entire history.
For me, the whole Sky thing comes down to one issue.
If you believe the peleton in as a whole far cleaner then in the past, Sky could well be clean.
If you think Cycling is as dirty as is always has been, then Sky are for sure doping.
Porte's win belongs to Lopez though. That guy was immense all week. |

New York Yankees 1920's - 50's?
Manchester Utd for the past 20 years not nearly as dominant as Sky these last two and a half years.
Liverpool in the 70's and 80's same as above
Real Madrid 1950's
Wigan rugby league 80's and 90's
Brazil football team 1958-70
GB track cycling 2000's (oops i forgot that according some on this forum Wiggins is guilty so forget them) lol ?
New Zealand rugby union team for about the past 100 years same as M.U. and Liverpool's comments
Montreal Canadiens 50's and 60's
West Germany football team 1972-80
France football team 1998-2000 (although i hope i'm wrong with that) no idea if they had a doping advantage, at least compared to their best opponents at that time, but...
the USA Olympic basketball team that went undefeated from about 1936 to 1972
i'm tempted to list Italian football clubs in European competitions during the 90's but i have my own suspicions ever heard about Parma, or Juve's drug shop that was of the size of a medium city's clinic ? |
