I'm simply thinking how great it would be if the crowd by the podium started to throw syringes onto it just as he was getting his medal...

I should be even more frustrated than you as the Selección fucked it up big time and see, I'm still here celebrating an impressive win by the Grillo. |

trust me, it has nothing to do with my country. the best of them probably didn't even finish in the peloton. it's about who won.

It was a deserved win. He was definitely the one working the most - so, yes, congratulations.
However, with such a tarnished reputation as Bettini have it's difficult to be happy for the result. Any other guy than him would have been good (except Valverde). Such a shame.
Also, I believe it's only a matter of time before we get rid of Bettini.

Well, the one who deserved it most was the winner. I still rely on his innocence unless someone proves the opposite thing. Besides, he gave those bastards from the ZDF what they deserved. What he did is a larger pain than legal actions. |

I disagree on the "working the most" part. but he was certainly the one who rode most intelligently, and by quite a margin too.

He certainly wasn't the one who worked most, but the most oportunist of them all. Granted he attacked some times, but that is individual work. |

that's just envy lol
A noun
1 envy
"spite and resentment at seeing the success of another (personified as one of the deadly sins)"
Bettini did an incredible job, if you love cycling you cannot avoid to give him respect for it.
Doping is shit, but as you may know, the witches-hunting era was a little... how to say... uncivilised? You'r doing the same.
Please stop talking about a champion like bettini this way, if you don't have evidence. If he'll have a process, then you'll be able to say anything, but for the moment... just shut up
He suffered a lot both during the race (also because of his personality and all the recent facts) and during the year. He deserved it.
i really think you should relax lol.
btw Cunego was great because he put away his desire of winning and "sacrificed" himself very soon. |

to be honest i haven't read any comments on today's race as that would take hours
but i will say that i think Bettini deserved it, the only guy that may have deserved it slightly more was Kolobnev but Bettini was the only guy in the front group that was working at one point, and had to have words with Cadel, expressing his feelings, if it hadn't been for him they would've been caught, and his attacks where constant
great race to watch, even if the Brits where nowhere to be seen at the end
YORKSHIRE BORN, YORKSHIRE BRED...

No, actually, it doesn't - he misses a comma.

you're taking the mike, aren't you?
yes, you're right, but the point I was making is that it was perfectly understandable (just that sentence, not the rest of his text)
and now to take the attention off Bettini:
