To be honest, I've never really liked the fact that they sometimes make exceptions to the limit when there's a large group. I know it would make for a very weird few stages, but in my view; if you're out, you're out.

With 15km to go the gruppetto with Cavendish was 15min back. Obviously they lost lots of time in the end. |

How awesome would it be if they DQ all the riders hors délai. It's not going to happen, but such a small peloton could cause madness tomorrow.
