Honestly 99.9% of Americans wouldn't consider it a bad thing if Alaska were to fall into a giant sink hole, just so long as Sarah Palin disappears.

I presume the last 0.1% bit is the Tea Party?
But to go back on topic: Guido Mukk is a nice guy. Stop poking him.

Which category do you fall into? The .1 % or 99.9%? It is such a beautiful state though. I agree with Sarah Palin disappearing though. No one her likes here either.
Edit: yeah whoops
Maybe predictions for tommorow? I'm thinking someone spanish.

Congrats. for that.
issoisso: Yes, but it seems like certain people only manages to listen to a couple of Norwegian teenagers. Which is very sad.

We can all say that what Hushovd did today was pretty good! He timed his sprint perfectly and took the stage in front of Daniele Bennati which in fact is a good sprinter when he's in a good shape, no doubt about that! When it comes to mass-sprint finishes Hushovd showed in this years Tour de France that
he's not like the sprinter he used to be, true! But just before the tour he got injured and to even hope to compete in this years tour he had to focus a 100% on his shape, so he didn't do any sort of sprint training before the tour. Therefor he was
not capable of sprinting the way he used to, at the same point he said in an interview that he was a bit scared in the last K's because he's thinking about the consequenses now that he's got a son/daughther.... don't remember!
Norway is a small country, and we do quite well in winter-games but as far as I know we haven't had a lot of success in cycling and
at least not many competitors, so when we're finally starting to win most of us like to let the rest of the world know and that might be a little too much sometimes I remember i got pissed a few years back when all the people from
the netherlands gave thomas dekker a lot of credit! That he was going to do big things, so when we keep braging about Boasson Hagen and Hushovd I can totally understand that some people react! Norwegians are not used to do well in this sport and it is normal to get a bit angry when people say that your favourite rider is not what you think he is. We might have 3-4 riders that can win races, so when we finally win we LOVE to make the rest of the world know. Anyway, there's no point in being aggressive and start hating! Let us be the happy norwegians who love when we win I rest my case!

Cavendish on his 3rd
No chance for breakaway, HTC wants the stage win, so they will take a strong pace.

Agree, Cavendish must be hungry now. But he needs a strong lead-out. He went WAY to early when Farrar won. So maybe another stage for Farrar?

this is really as flat as it gets in the vuelta (besides the Madrid stage). Bunch sprint - Cavendish can't fail again - surely?

If Goss doesnt puncture with 5km to go again, then he will have a better chance than the Farrar victory stage.

Oh, so that's what happent on the "Farrar-Stage". Was wondering where his lead-out went. Considering how god HTC is to make thoose trains.

Im fairly sure that was the excuse yeh - but ultimately, Cavendish may still have won had he made his move a little later
