Ricardo got lucky. VÃtor BaÃa was a fantastic goalie, and as with any fantastic goalie, when you're too perfect, people will hate you no matter how nice you are. The moment BaÃa made one mistake 6 years ago and Ricardo was elevated to starter, everyone cheered.
It's been 6 years of Ricardo floundering, but no one can say anything bad about Ricardo, because that would be sacrilege
It's one of the main reasons I want Scolari gone: bye bye Ricardo, and then maybe, just maybe Portugal can have a chance.
It's about the three millionth time Ricardo does this. The most famous case where he made this exact same mistake was Greece's goal at the Euro 2004 final.

Ricardo is a much better keeper than Baia. Baia went out on every cross, and he ddn't care if he had a chance of taking the ball. And even when he had his chance, he dropped the ball. Almost always. So Ricardo is better IMO, but still not excellent.
And your goals has been Paulo Ferreira's falt. He lost his marking on both 1-0 and 3-1. So if you're going to blame anyone, blame him |

I don't know whether to laugh at your obliviousness or yell at your lies. I'll just ignore you.
That text is LITERALLY 100% wrong. that's quite an accomplishment, not even one slightest thing about that whole text is true.

He's brilliant at penalties. that doesn't make anything about your argument right

Yeah I realized that, bad argument ^^ But I just remember BaÃa from his performances in Euro 2000 and WC 2002 and then he couldn't hold a single ball. He was really not the safest goalie in thos tournaments
And goal by Postiga, who would've thought that |

And I must apologize for Fröjdfeldt who seems to have lost all his talent as a referee. |

Euro 2000 agreed, World cup 2002, his performance against Korea was one of the best I've ever seen. ever. truly magnificent. and the other two games he was good.
He was once the best in the world. and he is a legend. you can't compare Ricardo to that. Especially because as a person, Ricardo is by far the worst kind.

Undeserved? I wouldn't say so.
(Notice how my argument is just as good as yours )

Germany scored on their first two shots at goal, in a period of the match when they were struggling to even make it past their own half. Portugal dominated throughout the match but didn't win. They scored the third goal in the first shot they made in the second half and in a blatant illegal move by Ballack.
Germany got lucky.
So yes, it was undeserved.
Game, set and match, p3druh.

well in this discussion im obviously not very objective but I think that win wasnt undeserved
no discussion that portugal was technically way above our limits but we fought hard, had our chances and scored one more goal as the opponent. Portugal dominated the game? no way |

i think its funny the portuguese trowing a major party every day the team played at euro 2088, with c.ronaldo, deco, quaresma and others and it was the worst performance we had at euro cups in 12 years
to resume i think pepe was the only portuguese to deserve a spot in the best 11 and c.ronaldo was rubbish(expected ) and this was the best this team had to offer
go Neds!

C. Ronaldo was rubbish? Hell no. Count his assists and goals, and you will see that he has been important for Portugal. |
