Is it just me or did Sky select the wrong leader for Andalucia? I know that it's early in the season, but even so, given how well he did, surely Thomas should in hindsight have been the leading role. I mean Porte was barely able to stick with him!
EDIT: Also, downhill TT (58kph average), so more aero guys like Kwiatkowski and Contador had an advantage

Not too sure. But wasn`t he starting his training 6 weeks late before the season due to his arm injury?
This would explain why he is not at his best yet.
Good ITT by Contador, hope he can also climb well on Malhao.
Kwiat is in beast form. Kelderman decent, but he'll lose more time tomorrow considering his result in the earlier climb.
Nice for Sagan to get his win. Pretty awesome to get away on the descend again.
I've seen some pictures of the climb and it looks like Froome is set for a demonstration on Green Mountain. Gesink looked good on the climb as well, but Uran was the only one who could bridge to Froome. Rodriguez might just play hide and seek until tomorrow.
And in Ruta, well. Sky only has 1 mode, and when their leader isn't strong enough to perform a Froomesque attack at 2/1km to go, then they are not much more than a leadout for guys like Valverde.
LL Sanchez seems to have refound his Caisse climbing legs at Caja Rujal. Mollema looked like he was suffering the whole way up. Degand is a nice suprise... 27yo and doing really well so far
