What a successful Giro for Stölting!
Some intermediate sprints were necessary, but in the end it's a deserved maglia rossa after three stage wins and four further podiums.

I assumed a rider without specialist trainer would only reach 75-80% of his potential in comparison to some1 with a Specialist Trainer. If that is not the case then y spend money on coaches at all if u play long careers.
I thought what separated the big teams from others was the training staff n equipments apart from the big sponsors but with Equipments having no effect, training staff effective only on rate of progression it makes feel somewhat disappointed.(Its like saying Messi/CR7 would still have been what they are today without La Masia,MU albeit at a different age)

Well, they might not reach their potential. But that is if you take really long, and haven't fully developed the guy at decline age(30-34 most of the time, depends of DB and whether it's a regen or real rider).

I doubt that a young rider cannot reach its potential within 10 years without a trainer but I guess it depends on the development speed which can be set in the options.
If you play with a very low development speed, then you might need a trainer to have your riders become good before they starting to decline as mentioned by Jesleyh. |

Is it possible to use the fitnessplan of rider A for rider B? Can i save a plan and load it for the second rider? Lets say I have a captain with his mainguard (eg in the mountain), so i want to give both the same fitnessplan.
Or is it a stupid idea and how can i manage it in an other way? |

This is something I really need as well. I don't believe it's possible though...

As far as I know, you cannot copy the fitness plan.
This is one of the many problems with the season planning in the game so I decided to re-program my season planner tool for PCM 2013.
Being able to copy fitness plans is one of the features of my new tool. |

I started a custom continental team with 10 free young riders. i am now in the CYA World Tour with my team after just 2 seasons. i have only bought u-23 riders(who r leading the u-23 rankings) and scouted young riders from spain. I bought Eros capecchi aswell in the 2nd season. i would like to know if i this is normal? cuz im new to this game. (i play on extreme)

Well, that's a bit too fast indeed.
Did you pick the best 10 U23 riders available at the start?
Or did you pick real riders?
Because you shouldn't pick the 10 best riders, it'd be really unrealistic, since there'll always be a few beasts among them, who develop to WT level fairly quickly.
You can make this game as unrealistic as you want, so it's all your choice
Just, most of us, PCM-players, love a bit more realistic team development and squads

i picked riders from the young riders tab. the ones u get a report on, i cant remember how many future greats and so on i got but i think i only got 2 worth watching wich had some skills like around 70 overall i guess. got 4 future greats one of them is a great climber who has 80 in climbing and 76 overall (he is 22) 3 others have 80 in sprint all of them r 22-23. my greatest rider has 78 in overall and is 23 he came in at 3d in milano san remo.

Yeah. You should normally just pick 1 or 2 future greats, and more focussed on 1-3 countries

Well, this wasn't realistic
But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy your career now, just don't extend the contracts of the riders that get too overpowered or don't fit your team at all
But only if you want it, it's your career

is it smart to create a whole team who is only good at sprints or mountains?

Well, why not?
There are even WT teams who are mainly good at just 1 thing(e.g. Euskaltel & Argos)

What is Euskaltel good at then (apart from crashing)?
Besides, Argos also has a strong cobble squad, they have some serious climbing talents like Barguil and Olivier, and they have Dumoulin, who can practically do anything

Not yet Olivier
And I said mainly with a purpose, and this was just to help with explaining my point
