Even the SKY fans can't think this is normal? every rider that comes first becomes the best domestiques and then after 2 years they are winning a major race after becoming captains.
That's the point |

A shame Quintana fall of the bike in the last descent in Stage 5. He could have ended up in the podium. Still great Performance although he is only 23. Is going to be interesting to see his development the next years.
Unless he signs with Sky. |

One example. Entire history of the sport to choose from. Go.
US Postal,
Oh wait, no.
Spanish football team.
Ehm, probably not.
Anything else?
Anyone?
No?
I think we can draw a conclusion
Norway ski team in the 90s, oh yeah those who all had over 1.80 blood count =) |

Rogers, Flecha, Nordhaug. They all had good results at this time last year, and they all have zero to show for it this year.
Isn't it amazing how when they leave they forget how to train?
Sky must mind-wipe the "advanced new training methods" from their memories.

Then why did Uran beat him by about 45" last year on this same course? Surely Uran would have been given the exact same instruction. I'm not saying that he went 100% last year like he did here, but even going 95% last year would surely mean that he would make the top 10 if this is what he is capable of?
I truly hope that Porte is clean because if he is then this is something magnificent for Australian cycling (which often needs all the exposure that it can get) but this TT does not fill me with confidence.
Being given an instruction doesn't necessarily mean that you have to follow it, and from what I remember last year I think Porte did a hell of a lot more work for Wiggins than Uran so he wanted to take the last stage easy. Not saying any of this is true btw. |

I think that's going to be the main evidence. If Nordhaug and especially Rogers don't do shit this year, I think not even Alakagom can save them. |

Flecha - Good reuslt in Qatar last year - why - because of windy stage.
This year, no wind, spritner's race. He finally didn't peak at Omloop and has a one major peak at Ronde and PR, good choice.
Rogers - Well, did well at TdU and then next race was Criterium International, are you going judge his season already ?
Nordhaug - Is doing Tour hence not in great form early on as his first big peak is Ardennes. Norwegian fans saying he has knee problems as well, are you going judge his season now meanwhile his 2 big goals are still long way to go ?
Man, you jumped to conclusion here quite early imo.

Nordhaug has allergies. Maybe he's allergic to Blanco's new training method.

"It's only March"?
This time last year Rogers had 3rd in the nationals, 4th overall in a World Tour stage race and was very well placed in the GC of a cat.1 stage race that he crashed out of.
Flecha was 3rd in a HC stage race and 3rd in the Omloop.
Nordhaug had a win in a stage of the Trofeo Mallorca, not from a break but in direct fight against very big names.
But hey "it's only March". It's only 3 months into the damn season...

Last season by now, Rogers had already been 4th at Tdu, Nordhaug had already won Trofeo Deia, Flecha 3rd at Qatar and Omloop Het Nieuwslab. |

I seriously hope that Wiggo doesn't take his Sky-train with him when he rides the Giro. |

And even if it is only 3 months in to the season. It's all set. We all know what is going to happen.
Michael Rogers will fail to deliveer. Flecha will fail to deliver. Nordhaug won't do anything. It's not even something to discuss. There should be absolutely no doubt that especially Rogers will fall through in the Tour.
This is how it works now. |

And David Lopez will probably go on the podium at the Vuelta. |
