Well, he still hasn't attacked once
Neither has Cavendish. He must suck then.
Hopefully, you know that's not comparable.
Evans has relied on his time trial abilities until today. That might still pay off, but the situation looks a lot like 2008. Hopefully, he'll be punished for it again.
In all fairness each rider has to play to his strength and we all know Evans doesn't have the acceleration to match the others. Today he took the responsibility none of the others wanted or was capable of. That in my book gives a lot of credit. If he manages to keep the Leopards under control tomorrow he has really ridden as well a tour as he could. If he then doesn't win on the TT - well so be it at least he did what he (in my opinion) could.

What should he do, then? If you want him to drop the Schlecks, Contador (in shape) et al, I'm sorry, but your eyes will never witness that. He knows he's the stronger TTer and and that's the card he plays. Now, if it was Schleck or Igor Antón doing that, that would be sad.
Suddenly Igor Anton moves into conversation about this years Tour? You should wait until next year, and then there will be a lot of reasons to talk about him in Tour. |

Does anyone know if someone has missed the time limit? Someone have to be eliminated since there was a breakaway that went in. |

Indeed, I suspect everyone would be saying "this Tour is over" with Andy winning if Evans hadn't taken up all the responsibility. Instead we get to witness another stage where the Schlecks desperately need time on Evans + hopefully an interesting time trial if Evans doesn't crack totally tomorrow |

The time limit could be close to 1 hour, so Cav should make it.

Ive just calculated the time limit - I make it to be 43 minutes after Andy Schleck.
Di Gregorio finished 44th, 20 minutes down

I never said he shouldn't do that.
But due to his "limits" (well, today, he was the best climber aside from Schleck), he's just not a very interesting rider, in my opinion. When you mix that with his annoying voice and aggressive attitude towards the media, you have a rider that I don't like |

43? Only? What is the percentage of time they can lose - 15%? |

sprinters were 14 mins down on Andy at the beginning of the Galibier climb, or so our commentators reported. so no worries there.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Sad that Contador didn't have legs after Giro to compete for Yellow because it would have been interesting to see him going for Vuelta maybe, but it's been an awesome tour and I'm shouting for Cadel for top step on podium. Come on you ripper

Fair enough that you don't like him. In this case you are hoping he will lose because you don't like him and I presume not because he tries his best to win the tour |

If you don't like him that's fine. But to call him a wheelsucker is nonsense.
And yes, today he was the 3rd best climber, after the Schlecks, and leaded his group all the way up the Galibier. It's not like dozens of riders have done such a thing.

Ignore 43 actually, I was looking at tomorrows %s, its more like 32.
I made average speed to be 32.7 km/h so add 9%

An aggressive attitude towards the media is what I love in Cadel.
