No, Im pretty sure thats just your assumption for why anyone could possibly find the Tour more exciting than a race like the Vuelta that you have decided will always be better, never to be convinced otherwise.
Are you irrational because it's saturday morning or should I take it your poorly constructed lie is completely random?
Shall I dig up your post?

Even if that were true, you would never be one to talk:

Why even ask? Youre normally not this patient to dig holes into my post when I express my opinion. I was already awaiting your post picking apart every thing I said, as well as its accompaniment of sarcasm.
By saying that I found the Tour exciting just because it was the Tour is just plain wrong. If you assumed that from a post I made then you made the wrong assumptions.

Because it's usually just an opinion, not a personal attack on me like this time.

Then tell me what I should assume from this:

Probably the major factor is the fact that British TV always covers it. Ive grown up watching the Tour de France yet have only followed the results of the other 2 Grand Tours since the 2006 Vuelta and the only way for me to watch the Vuelta or Giro is online.
So, even you don't mention the racing at all.

The only reason I added that line in there was try to stop you from lecturing me on how good and exciting the Vuelta is. Just like I bracketed the comment about having had this argument before in the hope that you wouldnt then restart the argument. In both cases, i guess it didnt work. Maybe I should have worded it to 'noone apart from the cyclists themselves can change it', would that have satisfied you enough to not make a comment?

If I had found the Tour de France boring, I simply wouldnt have watched it. The excitement of it and the fact that I enjoyed watching it is the sole reason that I then decided to find out more about the other races. There are plenty of races that have been exciting and interesting to watch, the Vuelta just hasnt been one of them (You yourself has said that the past two Vueltas have not been as exciting as previous editions, well for me those are the only two Vueltas I have sign parts of)
It may be easier for me to find the Tour exciting, but if next year (using this as a pure example) Alberto Contador turned up at the Tour, and has an easy win in the race, with only his teammate looking capable of possibly beating him, I would find it boring.
---
Now, make as many remarks about this post as you like. I get the impression that you would enjoy it. But whatever you say, I wont be reading it.

You're* wasting time with nonsense.
I just watched the Eurosport condensed version of yesterday's stage. Sneaky move by Arroyo, but what comes around goes around.

And Leipheimer shows that Contador is far from 'the strongest GT rider ever!!!"
No domination at all, in fact, without boni seconds, Leipheimer would have given Contador a run for his money. |

Levi would have won if not for bonuses.
Before today he was just 3 seconds off. Just proves, no time bonuses = more excting racing. (for the most part)

Plus he's not in his best form ever this season, he's not even close to his TDF 2007 level. |

I know that, but many people don't get it. They keep saying, also here (if you look into the topic closely) that Contador is the all powerfull dominator who will easily win. |

I keep saying this...if they were on different teams...levi woulda chased contador. He definately was strong enough. Another levi screw job. |

Velonews says that without time bonus seconds, Levi and AC would have the same time. |

You forgot that Contador won Giro, how strong was Leipheimer at that time? It's really hard to win both Giro and Vuelta and it's pretty easier to focus only on Vuelta |

leipheimer did do an awesome ride, though. Anyway, contador didn't care if he lost the stage as long as he didn't lose his first place. He might have gone harder if it wasn't his own team mate who was going to win.

again Booring Vuelta..I was saying this at the first Vuelta mountain stage..how Astana will stop Leipheimer to win this tour?
They figured this out..butting him for last lead out man for Conta at mountain stages.
Still he just lost 46 sec. for Overall.
Was the strongest man winning this year Vuelta?
Astna isnt that strong..but top form and full list Rabo..CSC..Lotto..we will get quite intresting race. |

If the mountain stages had been at the end of the Vuelta it would have been much better...
After the mountain stages were over it was really boring. |
