Transfer Season 15/16
roturn
True. But guys like Moser had 1-2 weaker years and looked a bit better agaub this season. So they clearly can progress nicely I guess.

And for Bevin it`s the first real year in WT, so I consider this a talent as well. Pfft

Danish riders are really being spread out amongst World Tour and Pro Tour teams for 2016. Looking forward to it, instead of seeing them all at 1 team, with only 1-2 exceptions Pfft

Yep, that's what I thought as well. Like the 90's. Super nice!

Breschel - Garmin
Christoffer JL - Orica
Søren KA - Giant
Valggren - Tinkoff
Mørkøv - Katusha (has he signed?)
CAS - Bretagne (dno what its called)

It looks interesting. Breschel, Juul Jensen, Valggren, Mørkøv and CAS all could go to the Tour.

And there is also, Magnus Cort, Fuglsang, Bak, Jesper Hansen, Lander and hopefully there is a spot for Norman Hansen somewhere as well.

Mørkøv has signed Smile

Has he confirmed anything as yet? Talented rider and Cannonade would be foolish to let him go

I liked the Garmin team already. But with the new additions it will be really interesting to follow.
They have lost some talent in Mohoric or stars like Martin/Hesjedal. But Rolland should close one gap, while Craddock and Breschel really had solid seasons and should also help them.
Wippert on PT level will be interesting. But he has great speed and could surprise in some races.
Then lots of talents, that stay with them or come like Bevin, Moser, Villella, Formolo etc.

Moser should be no longer classfied as talent. Bevin isn't young as well while Villela is stalling so far at PT. Formolo is the only real talent here.

Yeah but Moser showed signs of life in the latter half of this season and he's only 24 (25 in December) so we really haven't seen if he's plateau'd or there is a upside. Bevin is also only 24 (25 in may next year) and has only really been racing in Asia and Aus NRS races, Haas has shown this year that these guys take a little time but can become handy riders (Bevin is more talented than Haas). Agree that Wippert could surprise in a few races, he's fast and did the right thing by heading to Drapac and finding his confidence.
I thought Cannonade were really looking like also-rans after seeing what they let go but they have taken some risks that could go either way but outside of Uran they all came cheap, to me the main talent thats been let go so far is Morhoric

Take this as you will but Cav is looking more and more likely he will end up at MTN https://velonews.competitor.com/2015/0...nts_385272
The only other squad that has a remote interest seems to be Trek. Looks like Cav's want to ride at the Olympics on the track is whats holding things up

I've heard nothing so far. Would also be suprised if they didn't give him a new contract.

Riis123
Yeah, of course with old faces as well. I think we are in for some good years and a fair amount more participants in Tour which obviously always is nice. Hansen and Cort would be good picks for the Giro since Hansen doesnt quite have the strength to the Tour and Cort needs to ride a GT this year in order for him to develop optimally

Which brings me so Søren Kragh: Would love to see him in the Vuelta as well since the without a doubt is the biggest talent around, maybe apart from Simon Andreasen, but he isnt on the road until '17. Hopefully he will earn that from the get go, the guy is capable of that.

Nelson Oliveira confirmed for Movistar. Nice!

El Diario Vasco has also confirmed Betancur leaving for Movistar which is another great signing.

Ian Butler
Betancur a great signing?

That's up for discussion.
Let's see if he:
1. shows up for the races he needs to race
2. doesn't show up 50lbs overweight
3. does anything significant

Then we'll see if it's a great signing Wink

First off, they have got him on a huge discount at this point. So it a matter of low risk, high reward which always are the best deals.

Secondly, Movistar has 3 columbians (4 with him) and is a Spanish team which will help him to feel at home (that's at least what I think) compared to Ag2R which didnt have anybody to speak his native language.

Im just a little like, if it works, its probably one of the best signings you can get out here for that prize and if it isnt, well, it doesnt really matter considering they didnt spend anything really.

I thought that has been know for a month now? I remember having the same discussion with Strydz about Betancur and he gave the same points.

I think back then it was only strong rumours alá Landa to Sky, buy they should have confirmed it
