So, Tour should continue and Wallonie should start soonish. Still waiting for a few race planners and Mothbones, so no new startlists going out today.
I can however explain the World Championships already. They will be held at the end of the season and will consist of a RR and a TT, with possibly a U23 version for fun. There will be 24 countries participating with 8 riders and you will be the coaches.
Coaches will be selected on 1) Manager nationality 2) Team nationality 3) First come - first serve basis. So if Atlantius and me both want Belgium and he is first, I will still get the team because of my manager being belgian. Let's say I want Holland instead, I have team nationality, so I will get the team over anyone except a manager who is dutch. I hope that's clear enough.
The 24 nations participating will be the top 24 nations at the end of the season. Unless someone feels like calculating the official team rankings, it will just be the first rider for each country that counts.
Progress points will be earned for you with the results you achieve as a national team manager, but also as a normal team manager for the selections and results your riders get. Custom riders also get some progress points for being selected and for getting results. I still need to work out the details, but basicly getting your riders in the national team will be a good thing.
So,if I choose Britain can I use the Britain points on Nibali or Bernard?

If Ireland is allowed to start, will depend on Dan Martin
But as that's still far away, let's focus on the racing for now. I'll get out new startlists tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

So,if I choose GB can I use the GB points on Nibali or Bernard?
I'll use you as an example. Let's say you are team GB. If the GB riders do well, you'll get points to spend on Astana. If Astana riders get selected and do well, you will also get points to spend on Astana. If Bernard gets selected and does well, you get points to spend on Bernard.
And just to clarify, these are extra points, the main focus will always be the RP part.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

No, as always, the points you earn for being a manager, have to be used on your team. The points you earn as a rider, have to be used on your rider.

About the WC:
Yay, no good South Africans high up. Hopefully the Africans will do magical at the Vuelta.

Last thing about the WC for today, these would be the countries participating, based on the current rankings:
1-Slovakia
2-Italy
3-Colombia
4-Spain
5-Australia
6-Belgium
7-UK
8-Switzerland
9-Germany
10-Poland
11-Canada
12-North Korea
13-Netherlands
14-Slovenia
15-France
16-Norway
17-Estonia
18-Czech Republic
19-USA
20-Portugal
21-Ireland
22-Danmark
23-Romania
24-Croatia
Of course there's a big part of the season to ride, so changes will likely happen.

I think by the end of the season Peru and Nigeria will be on there. So are we allowed to chose the countries of our custom riders or are we not allows to do that?

Hmm, you guys and your special cases
I guess I can let you manage 2 teams, but of course only 1 of you can score points for Europcar.
