pity for Westra, could be a memorable race after the two panic stages. nice going for quintana too, as some of the top names prove this was not that much about climbing. |

So knowing the route makes you go 4 seconds slower then Wiggins? guess i'll go study some routes and go pro cycling then... because Porte was a decent climber and a good TTer and suddenly he is the best climber and waaaaaaaay the best TTer...
only in SKY Prodoping. |

So freaking bs. Attacked two days ago, now makes the same time as Wiggo. Seriuosly, i really hope if this is doping, they get caught just because this is so freaking borring to watch. |

That's with an easier overall course and having not attacked to win a mountain stage two days before.
Can you compare last year effort though ?
He wasn't going full out as he wasn't trying to win the GC, he had nothing to gain last year with going full on. Still that time is just...
Oh you know except winning a stage of Paris-Nice? Which he would have done incredibly comfortably with this time.

Porte proves he is a deserving winner of the Paris-Nice. Nice ride.
Comparisons with last years time is silly, he obviously didn't go for it last year when you look at his other ITT times. Other than that continue the comedy.

Alakagom, I understand that you like Sky. But even you should know this is just from another world. |

Why did he need to win it last year? He was probably told to take it easy like he was in the TdF |

But it was Wiggins's race to win, not his. He was just a domestique for him lat year, every single day going full out catching attacks.
This year he came as a leader, with full team working for him. Quite different circumstances.
Doesn't stop this time being ridiculous, but we can't compare last year effort to this due to different circumstances.

Here's a fun exercise: In the entire history of the sport, name a team dominating anywhere near this much that didn't turn out to just have a doping advantage
One example. Entire history of the sport to choose from. Go.

Even the SKY fans can't think this is normal? every rider that comes first becomes the best domestiques and then after 2 years they are winning a major race after becoming captains. |

yeah like isso said, name ONE team in the HISTORY of the sport that was even half this dominant without doping. |

At Saxo Bank = over the hill |

Then why did Uran beat him by about 45" last year on this same course? Surely Uran would have been given the exact same instruction. I'm not saying that he went 100% last year like he did here, but even going 95% last year would surely mean that he would make the top 10 if this is what he is capable of?
I truly hope that Porte is clean because if he is then this is something magnificent for Australian cycling (which often needs all the exposure that it can get) but this TT does not fill me with confidence.

A shame Quintana fall of the bike in the last descent in Stage 5. He could have ended up in the podium. Still great Performance although he is only 23. Is going to be interesting to see his development the next years. |

US Postal,
Oh wait, no.
Spanish football team.
Ehm, probably not.
Anything else?
Anyone?
No?
I think we can draw a conclusion
