*Yawns* Well, it's France C against the least populated country in the tournament, whose team mainly consists of bench-players from mediumsized Italian and German teams. The fact that it is not the most spectacular match in the history of the sport should hardly come as a surprise.
With that said though, the players do seam unusually unmotivated.
Anyway, Serbia vs. Ghana sounds like a considerably more interesting match.
Kuzmanovic is stupid right? How come an international player can do such a stupidity? This is the worst thing I've seen so far in this WC, and that says a lot.
Dumb, dumb Kuzmanovic. And when is Antic going to learn that Milijas is too stone footed to cover the entire midfield with just a little help from Stanko when the fullbacks are that offensive? Especially against a team that packs the midfield, it was obviously suicide.
Anyway, on to the next game.
Given how defensive Australia are (they have to be. Their defense is slower than Basso's sprint), and how bad they are at moving on the counter, I'll be amazed if they score a goal that's not from a set piece.
We could be in for a boring game. Then again, this Germany is the exact opposite of what Germany's always been: it's not experienced, it's not predictable and it's not boring!
Then again, no game with Özil in it can be boring

I'm guessing you didn't see Ghezzal's red card
Yeah, I thought that was unbeatable... until I saw THAT. Seriously, my most sincere LOL at Kuzmanovic.
On Australia v Germany, well, if Australia wants to survive I guess they'll play with a closed defense, very near to their own area. Otherwise, if Germany finds space, Australia is dead.
What should Australia do to score? Trust on Neuer. He could be their best ally, and more taking into account how strange is the ball's behavior. So, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. Even from 40m away.

That plan is doomed to fail

Why? I don't recall any good long distance shooter in Australia, but it's not like Australia can dominate Germany, nor are they a well suited team to play counter attacks. The only chance I see for them to win is to test Neuer as much as they can. Manu is a very inconsistent keeper.
Edit: Also, it's not like this is a 'plan' or the only strategy should be to shoot whenever they can. But they should certainly exploit this option.

Because Neuer is very good.

Yeah, according to youtube, most professional footballers are superstars.
That's what I kept telling Inter fans about Quaresma. They wouldn't listen. They were sure they had a good player.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.
