The pace is very high. Spanish tactics involved Samuel attacking about now, and he did, but couldn't get away

Gabba quits
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Still, I think we'll just see some halfserious attacks, and then major slowdowns.

Fuck me.
Why?
It's pretty pathetic. I doubt any of the other teams that qualified 9 riders have less than that, and Howes wouldn't be there if hadn't been in the break.
We suck at this type of racing. I mean, I know Horner got unlucky, but still.
What about Australia? Can't really see many of the team around there. We also suck at this sort of racing, with only Gerrans really at a high level. Evans too on his day, but he is past it.
EDIT: Nevermind, Cycling Australia just confirmed 5 riders in the front group.

Let's hope for those on the Cauberg. I think that Voeckler will be the 1st to attack, beeing countered by one of the spanish riders. |

True.
I had EBH in the Fantasy Betting, feeling decently good about that now. |

If he has the stamina to do a result in a race this long, it'll be a career first

Don't be. This has been too long and hard race for EBH. And able to eat tuna / rice cakes ... that's not enough energy. He'll crack at some point. Top 5 for him would be a big surprise.
Hope I am wrong though

I'm thinking more and more that this'll be a sprint from a ~ 50 man group. Really hope that I'm wrong though, since I don't want another sprinter winning the worlds.
Surely Italy must try something on Cauberg? Nibali has been completely anonymous all the race.

The Norwegian fanboys have been fairly quiet all year. Please don't give them another World Champion.

The Eurosport Commentators love Stannard. He's starting to irritate me because of this.
