Sick! Though still, winning 17 Tour stages? No. That's not possible with this guy! You're good!
It's probably because I play on 1.01x difficulty, instead of Hard(1.025x). Anyhow, the tour route I used was hilly enough that I could attack on the 3rd/4th Cat. climbs 10km from the finish and win by a 1' or so.

Actually, no. All of my riders OVR are waaaay messed up. For example, I have a sprinter with stats of 80SP, 79ACC, 77FL, and the game assigned an overall of 57. I don't know why it's doing that...

Long time, no update on my Virgin team (was Madison). You'll have to go back many pages to find them
Boily has now won two GT's in a row, having won the 2015 Vuelta and the 2016 Giro. The time gaps are big because it was an incredibly hard variant with 11 mountain stages! Edmondson beating Froome
Meanwhile, Horvat finally got beaten, in L-B-L, by Gilbert. But he's won seven monuments in one and a half seasons, so not too bad! I made my team a bit too strong but I'm letting a couple of leaders, including Boily , go at the end of the season. |

PCM just became the most realistic game for me: At Paris Roubaix, we had a group of 2 in the lead: Vanmarcke and Cancellara: both did their work. Before the sprint, Cancellara took the wheel of Vanmarcke, started his sprint and won.
Unfortunately I controlled Blanco,

Coincidence, I just rode Paris - Roubaix as well.
My team is clearly not capable of great WT results. I got 15th. I'm actually quite happy with that, considering my team. (Chainel 75 COB, Dumoulin 72COB, De Bie 71COB)
Not sure if it gives me WT points, have to check that later.
Next big race up is Brabantse Pijl, then Amstel Gold.

That's not bad. I got Chainel (a little bit more developed from the img you posted) to 4th in P-R last time. It wasn't really intentional though.
After a cobble section I found myself in the lead with Sagan, Pozatto and Chaniel, together with Boonen and one of his helpers. I think it was around 30km to go and the gap down to next group was small, but I decided to set the pace with Chainel, then later Pozatto. Gap grew and Chaniel ran out of steam, but he never lost their wheels, despite having just a few bars left. When we entered the Velodrome Sagan easily won the sprint against Boonen, but Chainel was able to hold the wheel of Pozzo for a great place.
It was on normal difficulty though, so I guess that makes a big difference, but my team did have 98-99 fitness

Yeah, I play on hard, but still, nice performance!
Also, Chainel was on 96/97 fitness(not sure), cause I blew him up a bit in Dwars Door Vlaanderen, Driedaagse etc.

Also, just thought I'd mention (mainly for Jesley ), that Kelderman was actually leading Bardiani Valvole (I know, brilliant right!) at the race and was the strongest rider, along with Quintana, in the final week but he lost an HOUR in the first half of the race, so ended up 22nd. |

Started a new career. Hoping this one will keep me interested for a while. Decided on a custom Belgian team. 40k budget for 2 years. I've set race difficulty to hard as well, so this will be quite a challenge. I found two "future greats" among the young riders. They turned out alright, but nothing specular. Keirsbulck looks like the biggest talent I've got.
Sponsors want the win in K-B-K and Omloop and a bunch of races I'm not invited for. Anyway, here's the team:

I hope they'll come along. I'm gonna try keep the squad Belgian.
I've started decently. The hard difficulty has given me some grief (after being used to winning almost everything ), but Eijissen has won 3 KOM so far, with a 2nd place in a short tour (lost with 1 second due to a last stage time bonus for his rival!!!). Van der Sande has 2 stage wins, a bunch of podium finishes and a 3rd place overall in a tour. Dunno how the season will turn out, but so far I'm one of the top non-uci teams in the CQ-ranking and I haven't even started the cobble-races yet, which should bring some decent results.

Started up Trentino.
Lost about a minute in the time-trial(ended halfway the rankings), but got another victory with the team at stage 2!
Slipped in an early break with Kok(71MO), and later on the stage, I slipped away with Dumoulin(71MO, 98 form due to Ardennes, awesome overall stats) in a late attack with Pirazzi, Siutsou, Di Gregorio, Montaguti & Caruso.(Also, 3/5 of them being 78FTR+ proves the theory about the fighter stat )
We reached the break, Kok protected Dumoulin, and it got to a small group sprint, after everyone worked a lot in the downhill, and we won with a 2 minute gap. Dumoulin, 3rd best sprinter, wheelsucked the best sprinter(only 69SP) and got the win! Kok dropped, but no problem. Also, favourites like Porte, Basso, Van Garderen lost 3 minutes +, so I'm starting to get my hopes up.
C'mon Dumoulin, win Trentino!

Just had a really strange moment in my career.
I finished a stage of the Tour de Suisse, think it was stage 2 but it's not really important. After the podiums, as usual, it went to the newspaper page, with the "next" button in the bottom right corner. Every time I clicked it, it took me to Focus' home page on the internet and wouldn't advance.
I don't understand how it can just create a hyperlink like that. The game has clearly learnt how to advertise new games with PCM13 just around the corner ! I had to go back to the main menu and reload and then everything was fine. |
