Hear Hear. How appropriate that Bettini keeps 'shooting', something he's rather used to.
he was probably aiming for pat mcquaid
He's a pretty good shot when it comes to hitting his own veins
obviously 2 world championships

DAMN DAMN DAMN. Anyone but Bettini!!
After around 4 hours of playing 'Spot the Brit', laughing at some of the team kits (Iran's kit imparticular when the camera went to view the back of the peleton), and hoping the break to be caught, it finally got fun on the last lap.
Rebelloin gets caught (Yay) and Millar still looked good, besides Bettini and Freire. As soon as the final break went I gave up hope on Millar and turned my allegiances to Schleck and Evans. Both were impressive imo, as was Kolobnev. After a few kilometres of hoping they wouldnt be caught, It was obvious they wouldnt be so I started cheering for any non-Bettini. I even hoped Schumacher could win (Even tho I dont particularly like him much) but it just had to be Bettini I was almost as annoyed as Schleck was

where'd Millar finish? I didn't catch him in the standings for some reason

He came in with Allan Davis, just behind the Freire group.

The funny things is that Samuel Sanchez that make the final break where Bettini and Schmcher was in and Ferie just stay in the pack
And bettini was the last guy i wanted to win

i dont agree with you on this one isso, assuming he is a doper, as he seems almost certainly to be, its people like him that need to be made an example of.

Only just caught up with all this - as it's Steven Fry's birthday around about now, I'll quote him:
Damn, damn, damn, and double damn

On the positive side, CSC has two very strong candidates for the final PT classics and I'm sure Frank is pissed now, so he's going to show up really determined.

This is a black day for cycling - a pretty much confirmed doper wins the World Championship - a new low by my reckoning

I'd even rather Dekker win and have Ruben celebrating all day long than Bettini win
Infact, I'd rather Mr Dopehead (Vino) or Mr Chickendopehead (Rasmussen) won, and I sure do hate them!

Lets not get carried away. A dopist winning is really bad, but Ruben celebrating in here for the next year or so is a catastrophe

It would be worth enduring that if Boogerd won

As much as I loved Rasmussen during Le Tour, I feel the same way.
