Hassan Whiteside is pretty awesome.
Haven`t heard of him until 2 weeks ago. Butsince then he is starting for the Heat I think and is consistently being great. First a triple double with points, rebounds and blocks!
Then one double double after the other with high rebounds. Yesterday a 24/20 game with 9 offensive rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks and 12/13 FG.
For a player that was drafted in 2010 but got his first game this season, these are pretty good numbers. |

All Star game lineups are SO ridicolous!
Anthony Davis got injured a he is replaced by frigging Nowitzki! I know he is a legend Tsmoha and you love him, but how on earth they can ignore Deandre Jordan so much??? Last two games were 20/20+ points and rebs from him and he is:
1st in FG% attacking all time record of Wilt Chamberlain there
1st in rebounds
2nd in blocks
1st in number of dunks and many of them are fucking highlights, which is something for ASG for sure.
Incredible morony.

Totally agree, Avin Never been a fan of All Star Games anyway and they became even worse the past few years. DeAndre is a beast, Dirk is getting older. You have my vote, Avin

Indeed. Nowitzki ist there for history reasons. Not because of this year's performance.
In general too many stars injured this season.
Rookie game much more interesting anyway. |

Close to the trade deadline the teams go crazy!
Biggest winners definitely Bucks but also Heat. Suns lose!
Bucks basically traded Brandon Knight and got Michael Carter Williams, Plumlee, Ennis.
Goran Dragic goes to Heat. Heat trade backup players only like Cole or Granger plus picks.
Suns get Thornton and Brandon Knight.
Philly takes a lot of picks (what else?) but losing the reigning Rookie of the Year is weird even though he wasn`t as strong as last year. But this also is due to the team obviously not willing to win at all. Tank mode.
And last but not least Suns also lose their Lakers pick to Philly. A pick that can realistically be awfully high.
Stoudemire goes to Dallas to strengthen their post behind Nowitzki/Chandler.
Kanter, Novak, Augustin, Singler to OKC with Perkins and Jackson out.
And a lot more...

I'm happy with Jackson and the return of the Palace Prince.
Although we lost our entire bench basically. Although they weren't good enough for what SVG eventually wants to accomplish with this team.

It isn't. The Onion is a website that writes fake news articles. |

I'll just say it now... Pistons are going to surprise a few people in the playoffs.
This team is sneakily good.
Went to the game yesterday against the Wizards and the Palace was nearly full. Haven't seen that in almost 5 years! The community is starting to get behind it's team again and it's exciting to be apart of.

DJ becoming one of the biggest Beasts to ever play the game, now he holds the new NBA record, 40 games in a row with 50+FG%, freaking awesome. He is also first since Wilt Chamberlain who made 25+ FT attempts in two succesive games (with terrible percentage of made of course).
Last five games combined he had 9 blocks and 9 steals and 27,20,18,15 and 17 boards.
Da Beast!

Its honestly not that far off. Westbrook have a little better numbers than D-Rose in his MVP-season, the difference just being that Bulls had a much better record that year. Westbrook is an absolute beast, a little too selfish still for me (which he probably always will be, Kobe Bryant-esque), but he is up there and Thunder is on a streak right now, so it will be stupid to discount him imo,
On DJ: Shoot 500 free throws a day and become one of the most dominant forces in the NBA. How hard can it be?.... |

The Beard for me is the MVP favourite. Westbrook played great but he missed too many games to be in the running. It's between Harden and Curry this year and I think Harden has been more influential than Curry for his team.
My team Clips lost a close one to Griz. CP3 was on fire but the dagger turnover in the last secs at 88-87 really hurt... Still the team plays way better than I thought it would w/o Blake. |
