Soler seems to be a disaster magnet, he really looks like he's cursed or something. His injury seems to be a really tough one, and by what news agencies have reported I'm just relieved for him to be alive atm, but I don't believe he will be back on a bike at least for the rest of the season.
I wish him well, and better luck for Movistar.
About the racing: well done Mr. Kruijswijk. It's nice to see a long-time national-based development project like Rabobank conquer such a hard victory.

I second that. They had again such a power in the group..destroyed a hole field...and result nothing.
How they can do that..have such dominant team ..rider in the race..waste all they have and do not get nothing.
and same time Riis can win with Nuyens.
Kruijswijk has done hugh step forward with just 1 month

Feel massively worried for Soler, his stage win in the tdf got me into cycling, so it's awful to see him in trouble just when he seemed to have found his legs again

Contrary to the popular LeoTard Prack bashing going on here, which I usually like, I don't think they were all that stupid today.
They just hoped F.Schleck would be the best rider and hoped Fuglsang could gain something as well from the gc riders that were dropped.
Unfortunately F.Schleck wasn't good enough and Fuglsang was even far from good enough.
Although I believe more and more my view on F.Schleck is the correct one. Other worldly good on some days, but most of the time "just not"... And some days even "what the fuck average" |

Levi displayed great climbing today. I really hope he didn't peak too early.
I think he did.He was very strong in may and now in june..maybe he will fail in the alps, in the third week.
Since he has continued to race, I bet he will be a helper in the Tour. Guys like Horner who is resting, and Brakiovic who is not on top form from the Dauphine this year will be the two leaders they choose from I bet. And Kloden has been really quite recently. |

From what I heard this morning in belgian news, he also had to be placed under breathing assistance since he suffers severe pulmonary lesions... I don't like the way it goes. |

This is looking like it will be a really close Tour de Suisse. Cunego in pole position but bearing in mind the lengthyish time trial, he needs to watch Leipheimer who seems to be really improving. A shorter climb at the finish today should suit Cunego so we shall see what happens today.
Rabobank really are showing the world of cycling here the model of bringing riders through. Mollema could perhaps even rival Gesink for tour leadership at this rate, but we know Rabobank don't usually have fractures in their team. Could Alpe D'Huez be a dutch mountains once more? Coming back to today I wonder whether they can play some sort of tactic with Ten Dam/Mollema and Kruijswijk?
I hate what has happened to Solar though... artificial comas for head injurys are normal procedure even so sounds very scary. Fingers crossed he gets better soon, but what a blow for Movistar following Tondo.

Well, even with Contador riding, I'd have Andy as the odds-on favourite for the Tour. However, if any team is capable of messing it up on their own then it's the Leopard-Trek boys.
And Ruben, I'm afraid Monfort dropping Fulsang was incredibly stupid. You can hope your leaders are having a good day, yes, but there's got to be a bit more communication in the team. |

According to what is said by 7s7 website, the cerebral oedema of Soler seems to decrease, and they're quite optimistic for the moment. |

Yep, both the pneumothorax and the oedema are improving, so they are increasingly optimistic about Soler. |
