I will miss your story a lot, but i am in the same situation with my story (only work instead of school) so i understand it is sometimes hard to find a time to play.

Thanks everyone, as I've said. I still intend to play a little bit, but I have to admit PCM is losing its touch for me atm, as well as being really busy with school.
Its probably something to do with the cycling season drawing to a close.

As the others said, it's a pity as I enjoyed this story a lot. But that's really unimportant Also, I think stories are at it's best when the writer puts much passion and joy in it, so just take your time. And take a look at Squire's Discovery Chanel story: It ran for almost 2 years now and he still posts from time to time - always a highlight.

Santos Tour Down Under Stage 5
January, 22nd, 2013
Today is the big day. Today is the Willunga Hill stage. Its the Queen stage of the tour, and many riders will be planning attacks today. The hill is a little far from the finish line, but that shouldn't stop a good TTer, who can hold his speed, for a small group victory. I want to try and gain some time on Finetto, although he's been in amazing form so far, so he could very well win the Overall Classification.
Today's breakaway contains 7 riders, none too close to be a threat for the GC. Much later in the stage, the 7 riders were swept up by the peloton, but that didn't stop them from getting a lot of TV time for their sponsors.
On the final passing of Willunga, Mauro Finetto, attacked, and made a huge gap back to the others. Eisel also tried to get away from the peloton, but he was quickly swept up, after getting a mere 20 seconds or so. Finetto, still looks strong, but I've commanded my team to work at the front to try and bring back Finetto.
At this point we're just hoping to try and snag 2nd place after Finetto still has a couple seconds lead over the main bunch. Downing was gassed so he gave me a good lead-out.
But with a late surge from Bozic, Finetto was brought back without anyone else losing any time on him. Sure he won the stage, but this means I can still make a move tomorrow to take the overall lead. I also finished 10th again, which is a pretty good finish for me.

I don't care if we only get one report per year, if they're as high a standard as this, I'm satisfied. Great work. |

I thought when I got a e-mail that there was a reply on this thread, I was pretty sure it was just someone saying that they had liked the thread, but I checked it out anyway, and was happily surprised with what I saw. Nice Work. And to Kit, I +2 |

@ Kitface - Wow, thanks a lot. I'm trying to have more writing in my reports too, I'm just terrible of thinking of stuff to write for reports.
@ Pelli - Thank you.
@ bblvr - Thank you! Glad I could surprise you! I had lots of time last night.

I think you don't necessarily need to write more. The reports are absolutely fine the way they are. At least I wouldn't write anything just for the writing's sake. Anyway, very nice that you try to keep this up.

Santos Tour Down Under Stage 6
January, 23rd, 2013
Today is the last stage of the Tour Down Under, and so its also my final chance to try and take the Overall victory. Finetto still looks very strong, but I think I can atleast move up into 2nd, but my goal is for 1st place. Despite the very hilly appearance to the profile, the climbs aren't all that steep, and are also short, so they shouldn't be too much trouble for me. Teklehaimanot, should take the KoM and also Young Rider victory, which would be a great start to the season for the team.
Today's main breakaway contained only two riders, Rosseler and Paolini. With the stage being so short, Liquigas didn't want to take any chances, and so they were only allowed a minute or so.
The break was caught with about 11km left, and with 8km to go, Finetto attacked, so I followed. Westra was also there, but he soon fell back to the peloton. And after a couple km's of riding in Finetto's group, I felt myself cracking. I didn't want to emplode, so I slowed my pace a bit and hoped I could still hold off the peloton.
The sprint starts with 2.5km left, and Finetto is in the lead with Bozic right behind him. I'm hiding behind them, but in the pic, I'm in about 4th position.
But Finetto keeps up his amazing form and takes another stage victory. I cant believe how many stages he's won, I've lost count, but he's been really amazing in this race. Of course I'm also happy with my results, as I think I've improved my sprinting a little bit. I also think I can survive the smaller climbs better.

Oh, come on, David loses his podium place, Daniel the KoM and youth rankings, everybody hates Sky. Not me, of course. |
