To be serious, Hushovd only said that Sastre's disappearance do not meen hasta la vista to the Tour de France, and that Sastre never did what was expected by him.
He had a poor Giro 2009 especially. Did nothing for the team there.
Sastre is such a crap rider. Geox is out of their mind signing him.

Sastre a crap rider, dont talk stupid crap riders dont win the Tor de France. yes age is against him been 33, 34 but maybe a new team is what he needs, I believe that Sastre still has something to offer, at least at top 10 in a grand tour, everyones comparing him to his TDF win which is right but he is 2 years older and age is against him.

Sastre wouldn't even be close to winning the Tour if it hadn't been for Andy and Fränk...

The Andy and Frank who worked against him by specifically telling him not to attack when everyone in the peloton but him was on the limit and about to get dropped?
I'd love to see you try to justify that ridiculous statement

Cant blame Kreusiger for leaving liguigas, he will always be 3rd best behind Basso and Nibali, who are the better climbers, a loss for liquigas but a gain for kruesiger now will he be team leader at astana are arrogant vino.

Ricco > Vacansoleil
Officieel: Riccardo Ricco naar Vacansoleil
Tuesday 17 August 2010

Maybe it's quite a nooby question, but how does the transfer system in professionell cycling work?
Is it possibble to buy riders out of their contract like in football? Or are you just able to buy riders when their contract is running out?
Because in some older Cyclingmanagers you where able to buy riders...
Thanks for information,
Dany |

It is possible, and has happened, but it is extremely unusual, so usually you're stuck to get riders whose contract is running out. |
