i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0035.png
This is gonna be real intresting race..if look race lenght and profile..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0036.png
we have 220 to go..and fresh ITT world 3rd. place winner..Leipherimer is crashed.. tempo is real high..he would not get back..one strong name is out of the game.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0037.png
Has Italia has one of strongest team..why not to use it..Nocentini to the front..and tempo is starting to hurt..p.s. we have 175km. to go.. Grazy day. (Rider with best stamina will survive).

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0038.png
152. to go and Gesink decided to go..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0039.png
Counter atack..Gutierrez, Lloyd, Klöden, Valjavec, Uran...Italia will sent Scarponi

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0040.png
After several atack wave..we have 4 riders left at the front..Gesink, Klöden, Valjavec and Scarponi..strong group.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0041.png
G2..Uran, Gutierrez..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0042.png
81km to go..Belgium team as caused split..we have Gilbert, ...Evans, Rogers, ...Basso, Di Luca.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0043.png
Bad luck..after all this work Gilbert crashes (75 km. to go.)

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0044.png
Australia wont wait..Gilbert. Evans moves to the front and start working..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0046.png
Rogers cant follow..just Basso , Di Luca and Meersman left...

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0047.png
63 km. to go..has I already expected..Evans atack..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0048.png
But no..Di Luca helping Basso back..there.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0049.png
57. to go..and again..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0050.png
Di Luca has to tyred to repeat he's trick again..Basso atacked after Evans..and has caught him in descent.. (Vuelta battle will continue)..Klöden group is still out there..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0051.png
47km to go..and again Evans atack..there is G2 guys Gutierrez and Uran. Basso follows.
Great race..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0053.png
..has he droped?..No!

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0054.png
..Evans has used all trick's he knows to get riddle from Basso..did not worked out ..and then he starting to talk..lets work together!

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0055.png
Basso had he's lessons with that..He atacked before the hill top..and is clear to go alone.39. to go..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0056.png
Basso has caught lead group..31 km. to go..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0057.png
No time to waste..Evans is chasing..Scarponi looks tyred he is no able to help a lot..Basso moving to the front..only Gesink can respond.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0058.png
But not for long..Basso is alone again..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0059.png
Moment later Evans is in the same situation..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0060.png
Same time at the back..Dekker and Armstrong catched Di Luca.. This can be 3rd. place battle.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0064.png
Di Luca has escaped from Armstrong group..and is riding now in Klöden group..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0061.png
Evans trying to get back..but gap stays in the same level.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0065.png
4.8km. to go..and Di Luca atacking ..attempt to go after podium place..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0063.png
Basso will take World champ. title..amazing year..

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0067.png
Evans 2nd. great worlds. for him..silver and gold.

i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/teemeuue_2011/22/PCM0066.png
Di Luca 3rd. ...Scarponi 5th....best team Italia.

Form is everything in the worlds. Looks like Basso gained a lot from a break between the Giro and Vuelta Smile

You are awesome !

Great year!

Superb performance Guido, what a season for Basso and Evans both!

Lets see the team and individual rankings - it would be quiet interesting to see the wins and who got them from your team.

Fischer, Benetti and Basso seemed to be the main winners, but how about the likes of Nibili, Kreuzinger and Pellizotti?

Superb superb riding Guido and good that you lead my favorite: Ivan Basso to victory Smile Looking forward to see Ivan in the Worlds jersey!

What a season for Basso and Liquigas, surely he will be looking for his first Tour de France win next year?

I think that Guido said that he will take a break before making a new story.

You should continue with this story. Basso vs. Contador and Evans in TdF will be awesome! Smile
