it's not that list mattias. it's a different list. of suspicious riders in the tour. Beltrán was one of them
I meant that list. The one with 10 riders or maybe up to 20 riders, right? High hematocrit values.
EDIT: From cyclingnews:
During the last few days, rumors about Riccò circulated through Tour de France's media circus. Some said Riccò was one of the five riders who had received a letter from the AFLD concerning irregular blood values. Riccò denied receiving such a letter and said after his second stage victory that he was disappointed with the rumours.
"If people make me angry, then this is what you get," said Riccò by way of explaining his blistering attack on the Col d'Aspin. "I'm not angry about the rumours, I'm just disappointed. I've had these blood values ever since I was a child," said Riccò, who has a naturally high hematocrit level of 51 although the highest allowed level is 50.
"The UCI knows my situation, and I have a certificate to prove it," said Riccò. "I'm following the UCI regulations and I hope that people can appreciate my performances as I've got a natural high hematocrit level."

memories of "some jokes about PCM08 made by me..." are coming back...
Although in your credit they are slightly funnier than his jokes, although that wasn't hard

I have believed in Sastre's chances so far, but if this stage is just going to be another staying-with-the-favourites-just-to-lose-3-seconds-in-the-finish-because-I-can't-sprint-days for him, then he's not going to win Le Tour. Not this year. Not ever. I hope he he will since he is my favourite rider, but enough is enough, and I have seen him being beaten by one or two riders on enough occasions already.
Anyway, Go Sastre!!!

what do you guys think about valverde? to me he seems very weak after the crash, it looked like he had a tough time yesterday.
and cunego have either been weak or just not paying attention but it doesnt look bright for him either imo |

If you go to the first post of this thread you will find my opinion, which is that I don't consider them, especially not Cunego, for the podium. I have explained why on a few occasions already and my main arguments are that Valverde isn't consistent enough and not good enough on the 50-km time trials, while Cunego simply isn't strong enough in the mountains.

having trouble with hanging up with the pace on the first "mountain" stage cant be blamed on conistancy only. and morau felt it too much and left the peleton. zubeldia struggled aswell yesterday and came in in a later group than the others. will euskatel drive for sanchez only or astarloza aswell now? |

Cunego is overrated as a climber. I keep saying this, and finally people are starting to agree with me. why only now? who the hell knows. Valverde is inconsistent, peaked way too early and can't save his energy from day to day. he'll tumble mightily in the alps.
Every year I keep explaining how the Dauphiné winner has peaked too early and above all, has wasted too much energy. Nobody ever gives a damn, so I keep repeating it
Moreau is rumoured to have been privately told by the AFLD to stop riding because his blood values were abnormal. Either that or he would start "as a coincidence" being one of those who "by chance" is "randomly" selecte to be tested day after day...
you know, the way Valverde, Riccò, Cancellara, F.Schleck and Ballan have each been "randomly" selected to be tested a bucketload of times each, so far.
Zubeldia's focus is the Vuelta. he's working for Sánchez. Astarloza is working for Sánchez, but also has a free role.

Only hope about Cunego is that guy gonna peak later..like alps..because he is riding now under any expetation.
Great and very important day today.
If Valverde would be weak as yesterday....Caisse should but Pereiro in charge.
How Cadel has recovered from yesterday crash.
I belive this is gonna be big day for Sastre. and I am never expect to say that Menchov |

At the minute I'd say Pereiro is looking better than Valverde. Pereiro is doing awesome work for Valverde, but then Valverde does nothing. Yesterday Pereiro was doing great work, nothing from Valverde. The day of the Luis Leon victory, Pereiro did great work for Valverde, but he did nothing and Luis Leon had to do it.
I want Pereiro as leader

Valverde said he felt good this morning, i dont know if that is true. Personally i think he will lose a lot of time today. i dont like saying it and i really wish i didnt feel like it. I so hope he can win.
Evans said at the start that he felt stiff and sore, so lets see how he feels when we come to the Hautacam (Cant remember how to spell it). I think he will be ok and will probably take yellow. Then he will not put anyone on the front to defend it
Cavendish had a nasty crash this morning, hope it doesnt put him out of the race.
I have to say a lot of the big guns have crashed, whos next Sastre?
Come on Valverde! |

Yep isso..issue on this forum is repeat your thought's on and on. Because if you are correct..this is only way to make it understandable.
Once again isso main issues: (and I have to admit ..I should most of the time agree with him).
Ricco is great climber but also cocky bastard
Dont ever count out Freire and Sastre
Cunego is more like classic rider..no for grand tour GC man.
Bruyneel is asshole what ever he do.
Winning Dauphine is not good sign for rider..who like's to take TdF GC win.
If you run a Vuelta..it makes much harder next year win the TdF
Contador will never clean he's name..sry. but always something suspicous about him
Cool off about Andy...he maybe will be great but at least not yet.
Dekker..well he is Ruben pet
