Yeah.

Perhaps we won't have to wait to many more years before another one joins that exclusive club (Quintana)

Please dont use the triple crown reference when its not 3 GT wins in the same year.

Only two riders have that Merckx and Roche.

Its like calling 3 goals in 3 different games a hattrick.

1. You will never see the like again.
2. It is still some achievement to win all 3 GT's in the same year or not.
3. Wow you have displayed some history, I am amazed.

"Please dont use the triple crown reference when its not 3 GT wins in the same year.

Only two riders have that Merckx and Roche.

So no its not History in the making.

He's not saying it's a Triple Crown. Winning all 3 GTs, even in several years, is still an amazing achievement which not many riders have done. Contador did it and now Nibali will do it. That's what he means.

And nobody has 3 GTs in one year. Triple Crown is 2 GTs and WC (preferably Giro and Tour), which is the case for Merckx and Roche.

So let me repeat, yes it is history as not many GT riders do win all 3 GT's in their career.

Pretty sure the Triple Crown is Giro-Tour-WC.......

How am I supposed to act normally, ignore and not insult in this thread, when someone so ignorant, like the guy under Jacdk nickname appears and is, besides the fact that he's a moron (in full meaning of this word, I don't believe his mental age is any bigger than 8-12 years) and doesn't know a shit about cycling is so arrogant and stubborn? How, just how?

1. You are right on the money there, even 2 GT´s win is pretty much impossible without some extra substance.
2. Sure , if your a fan of that rider, but in reality its not that great when everyone and their grandma knows that the best sets their sights on the biggest scalp the Tour and does who cant win a tour, goes for scraps either Vuelta or Giro.
3. Wow really thanks i didn´t know

Now we can start to get the real story about Contador:

Fuglsang said something along those lines to Danish TV as well.

Apparently he took a huge risk going 10-15 km faster than the other riders in the group on a decent with bad roads and 1 km after passing Fuglsang he was sitting on the roadside.

Seems he was a bit too "turned on" today and that ended up costing him the entire race...

And if Contador and Froome had been there he would have been 0 stage wins and no yellow jersey.

But we really wont know for sure, but congrats Nibali won the tour.

He would still have atleast 1 stage win and he would still be in yellow, you are just being stupid now... trying to make a point thats no there to make.

I wouldn't say the Giro and the Vuelta were scraps, Giro is always a tough route, probably the toughest of all 3 races. The Vuelta will have a strong field this year. How you can any GT scraps is beyond believe.

Machado and Schillinger apparently were 6min over the time limit. So both have to leave the race. Really sucks for Machado.

I have heard it used about both, either Giro/Vuelta/Tour or Giro/Tour/WC

But no-one has ever won 3 GT´s in the same year
