Abandon the race just because it's not like he wants it? Sounds kinda childish.
Like Wiggins or Hesjedal last year. |

What's the point of riding the race on antibiotics?
He can't be 100% here better to withdraw and focus on Tour. Hardly childish . GTs take shit loads out of riders both mentally and physically, add to this sickness and well..

What is the point of staying felling bad to finish 20 or even worse and not even having the strenght to winning a stage??? Leaving the race to recover and saves energy for the Tour or Vuelta is what I call been smart |

Oh, I didn't know he's still on antibiotics. I can understand it then, and if he feels his health is at risk, I support his decision.

Uh, he's 6th overall and not even close to finishing below 20th. He also still has all the chances to win this race or take stage wins. People said that the race will be decided in the third week, and now that the third week comes near, Quintana should give up already...

Words is though (if danish commentators are to believed) that he isnt on antibiotics anymore, feeling better and just wants to survive those 2 days and get to the rest day. Sounds like a plan to me. |

Between Quintana and Cunego are only 5 Minutes and in the Mountain stages if ur feeling bad u can easy loose more than that and if u take in considration he has injuries everywhere and is on antibiotics and thre are still 4 Mountain stages more or less left then its imposible to think hes going to survive that. |
