Okay, 3 days ago everyone insulted Cav. Today, everyone insults Belkin, the entire Tour, everyone insults Froome.
So when Valverde knocks of Froome/Mollema/Contador/Kreuziger/or whoever off his bike and attacks and wins a stage, everyone insults him.
DOn't know what has happened, but most people act like football hooligans here: shout at the opponents, insulting everybody, and being negative about every achievement by any rider. It's hilarious, but also ridiculous.
If I were a Belkin-rider, I'd have done the same. And if I were a Movistar-rider, I would have questioned why it took so long before Valverde got back on his bike after the mechanical.
And if somebody throws urine over the Belkin-riders tomorrow, I know some guys at this forum who are suspects!!

Completely agree, a bunch of idiots blind by anger and jealousy here.
You're really not the right person to call people "blind".
O, please tell me why I am blind here? Teams are not going to wait for opponents, that's all I'm saying. What's so blind about it?? |

Went through the last 10 pages. Tallied up the people defending Belkin.
Percentage that dutch people or Belkin fans: 100%
Seems pretty clear to me.

Nice argument man, just like most people mad at Belkin are Movistar fans, Spaniards or Valverde fans. |

Guys, what was with the wheel accident? When someone had material problems. I thought it was Andy Schleck or Contador. I remember it was something like this aswell but I can't remember what it was exactly. I think the bike chain broke. |

Oh really
It has nothing to do with that though. You can check my previous posts, I've always defended that teams are entitled to take advantage of their rivals' misfortunes, whoever did it, and whoever suffered it.

You're offending a Freire fanboy. Well, not fanboy, but almost.

by that logic don't you think that a few days ago you could say that the people are defending Cavendish are either british or Cavendish fans

Let's just forget about any debate whether it was or it wasn't fair and view it from a karma point of view: bonehead tactics on stage 9 really got vengeful on Movistar.
I'm sure Piti in yellow would never have had such troubles.

He has that same tweet in Spanish, and man, it sounds like they want to unleash chaos next week.

Like in stage 9 when the only thing they did was drop Porte who had a terrible day?

Why? I'd rather him than Froome.
After today's stage, I hope he loses 20+ minutes alone on Alpe d'Huez.
Rider with immense clean reputation rides hard and tries to beat convicted doper. Sounds good to me
Anyway, I agree with what dienblad says, though, but I remember being warned about this. Someone (very wise, no doubt) once told me this place turns crazy with the Tour. I now see that's very true. I've seen people here who wish someone would die, that says it all... |
