Green Jersey, it was the best you could get out of this Tour De France!

Thanks for the comments everyone. The green jersey was definitely the best we could get this year.
I guess a special thanks should go to Team Sky for using Cavendish as lead-out for Swift in stead of the other way around

We are very happy to see so many at this press conference. Our first Tour de France was a huge success for the team.
First with Daniel holding the mountain jersey for a couple of days and later with a stage win and surprising green jersey for Thor Hushovd.
We have agreed to give the Rear Wheel an exclusive with Thor, where he will answer all questions about his win, so for now we just want to thank all the fans. Your support was a great inspiration to Thor in the final week.
Unfortunately we couldn’t find any clips of this win, but I promise you all of Norway was even more thrilled than when he won this stage back in 2009:
VIDEO
We already have a strong team for next season. Now we are proud to announce that it will become even stronger!
The Danish Legend
Spoiler
Nicki Sørensen started his career fairly late, but still the end is closing in for him. He have had a great career with both a Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana stage win, four Danish Championships and just a month ago a GC win in Int. Österreich Rundfahrt.
This is a rider that will lift our level even more next season and will be able to teach our young riders quite a lot.
The Ox of Hammel
Spoiler
Chris Anker Sørensen was more or less the only helper for Alberto Contador in the Tour and he looked very strong all the way through. Now it’s time for him to get to ride his own chance.
We expect great things from Chris and hope to lift his level a bit more in the coming years. He was one of the rider we dreamt about when starting the team.
A Six-double Champion
Spoiler
Gustav Erik Larsson is by far best when left alone on his TT-bike. So good actually that he has six Swedish Championships and both Olympic and WC-silver in his palmares along with a bunch of stage wins.
He was a must-have rider for this team, so we are very happy to finally have secured his signature!
We have known for a while that these three riders will be leaving us to make room on the roster for our new signings. All three will be moving to bigger roles on smaller teams.
Geir Berg will be moving to Joker next season. We are very happy for all that Geir has done for the team and wish him all the best.
Håkan Nilsson will be joining Atlas Personal, where he should get some good chances. He has been a good rider for us, but he is getting too old for us to rely on him in the future.
Pelle Clapp . The young fighter who has still to show some of the talent we had hoped he had will also be leaving us. Pelle will continue on Danish Continental team Blue Water. That should be a good fit for him and we hope that he can find his talent again on a smaller team.
Next Race: Prueba Villafranca-Ordiziako Klasiko

I don't understand a word of the video but It looks like they were really happy with the stage win.
You have signed some great riders for next season.

Prueba Villafranca-Ordiziako Klasiko
A hilly classic in Spain. Our riders here will all be hungry for a good result as everyone is allowed to fight for their own chance and none of the usual captains are here in very good form.
Geir Berg joins the first wave of the break, but on the first pass of the climb
Euskaltel make sure to pull everything together. Apparently
Antón & Co. is very motivated today.
Second wave covered by
Bäckstedt , and they last a bit longer, though they never look likely to win.
Euskaltel pull things to pieces and only
Kjell and
Søren can retain a spot in the orange group 3 minutes behind the front group with 40 km to go.
Final climb of the day and
Nieve is setting a tough pace in front.
As the hill flattens
Nieve is caught and
Carlström counterattacks. Sadly he is not strong enough to shake the
Euskaltel riders. We will have to rely on the sprint with
Søren and
Kjell . That is not a very good bet…
To no surprise the finish has
Euskaltel written all over it.
Victory for
Navarro and a great 3rd for
Søren Nissen .

Søren did great in Spain, but Euskaltel was in front of the peloton all day, so it really was a deserved win for the orange guys.
Looking forward to be able to compete on a higher level in the mountains next year with the new signings

Coppa Placci
Another hilly classic, this time in Italy. Pretty much same deal as last. The strongest on the day will go for the win.
Nu surprise we go for the break.
Nybö get away along with a few others, but they are caught again on the first climb.
Katusha and
Astana agree on setting a hard pace and it quickly becomes obvious that all but two
Falcon s are having a really bad day. Unfortunately those two are
Bäckstedt and
Madsen , who can’t climb for shit…
In front the
Astana riders take turn attacking from the now 8 rider group. I’ll be cheering for
Kessiakoff now that my own riders had an off-day.
With 3 km to go 9 riders are left to fight. Three from
Katusha , three from
Astana and three from Italian CT-teams.
Spilak opens the sprint and
Moreno finish the job for
Katusha .

Daggen: I would love to sign Kessiakoff, but Astana won't let go of him. Pretty sure his current contract expires next season so he will be a main priority then.
For now I'm afraid you will have to make do with Löfkvist & Larsson

Wasnt the best result but still a top 15. But how do you get 9 minutes behind on a stage.

Jak: Kjell had a -5 daily form and Katusha and Astana was pulling full throttle from about 70 km before the finish. Actually the only of my riders with a daily form better than -2 today was Jens Erik Madsen and Magnus Bäckstedt and the race was made way too hard for them
When he had definitely lost contact with the front 9 I just had him finish without using too much energy
