Come on Duarte, you've got to finish in the podium this time! Already showing signs of it in early stages, that must be good. |

At least you're not losing time, I have the feeling you could win this Giro!

@all: Thanks for your support!
@fcancellara: Winning this Giro? Would be awesome
@FreitasPCM: Podium? Would be more realistic than Overall win and still be very nice
@Alakagom: Go bonkers.. didn't know this "phrase" But yeah, it was indeed crazy.. but Duarte had to counter Cunego's attacks and so do a high pace.. bad luck for Pajuelo.. maybe we will see him trying again.
@baia: A special thanks for the liking the pick of the day! I'm pretty happy with that shot of Pajuelo as well
Here's next.. flat..
Giro / Stage 8: Avezzano - Fiumicino
(No GC-changes, no Complete results)
Pic(k) of the day:
Spoiler The break..

So close for Pajuelo on stage seven. Still a good result for you, with Duarte in third. Looks good for a GT podium for Duarte after the close miss in last year's Vuelta.

Wow, I'm not a big follower of stories, but I think this one is well worth it! Can't believe I hadn't looked into this earlier. Good work with Duarte also!

I'm sometimes glad that stages like the last one take place: not too much action, just letting your riders rest in the peloton....

@all: Thanks for the comments! It was indeed a quiet day for Dark Dog, but I can promise you that the next stage will be the complete opposite, as you will see in the preview below!
@Eden95: Thank you very much for the kind words! It's always nice to see new followers, especially as you don't follow stories that much
@baia: Cardoso is doing very well here, yes! I may post his stats soon, since I'm also surprised by his performances
Here's preview of stage 9:

Thank you, guys! I will now do the reports, as I've been busy yesterday.. I wouldn't call it a "sweet stage", but it's definitely tough Narrow roads.. we will see some gaps, I can already tell you..
