And the heck are Katusha working like that? It makes no sense.

Sastre's Giro seems over, then.
This Giro just gets worse every day. We started with a ton of GC candidates and sprinters and now we barely have any.

Hopefully once Flens and Sorensen are caught the pace will slow down enough for Sastre to come back.
