With the points jersey that wouldn't happen with riders like Menchov, Evans or Contador cause they have low sprint stats, while Valverde or Cunego can take points in the mass sprint finishes

Valverde takes the lead on the downhill

Siutsou is very far from the front battle
Pellizotti and Efimkin are left behind

Ricco and Cunego almost caught Valverde
