Yeah let's do Firenze.
It will give Aru a realistic shot at defending his title on home soil! The finish will be after a downhill, so race should be quite open. |

One more vote for Firenze
Domont had a rough 18th stage which puts him in serious risk of dropping quite a bit further down with a mountain and a TT stage to go. Other than that Lang and Cattaneo were completely useless here so far, which is a shame as breakaways would have been nice from them (I obviously can't complain after the Tour but still ).
Thanks for the results Bikex!

Last two stages and QSC final up: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1371305
Spoiler Couldn't have been closer before the final time trial and I didn't think Nibali could beat Herrada here who is the stronger timetrialist and also had the leader jersey bonus. TT randomness helped him a lot here. Now he finally has completed the ICL GT triple after failing in the Vuelta year after year. Next year he can finally ride another GT again.
TVG giving CCC some hope in the relegation battle, although he profited definitely from Majka's crash and him probably being injured for some stages. I guess Tao's great race to get him the white jersey at least makes up for that a little bit for Aviva.
Finally Mollema upsetting the sprinters in the last stage to get him a stage win in a race he always did well in. |

Amazing performance from Domont in this Vuelta, 6th is quite a bit above expectations for sure. Nice last stage from Silvestre too, just a shame he lost it to a climber.
The only downside were Lang and Cattaneo, who both finished behind our sprinter Silvestre in gc. So yeah that was unfortunately an embarrassing performance from them, a few stage results would have been really nice.
Congrats to the GT triple man Nibali and thanks a lot for these reports Bikex.

Vuelta and Quebec have been horrible for us. Hopefully we didn't loose too much ground.

Grande Nibali! Grande Herrada! What a great mano-a-mano fight between the two. After beating Italo the past two years in the Vuelta, Liberty had to give in this year, but a great fight by the team with three stage wins. That we lose it due to TT randomness is too bad but alas, we profited off that last year. Gratz bikex and thanks for the results!
Would have been nice to get another stage win on the last stages, this way Italo beat us in all the classification and we end this year without a jersey won in a GT all year.

GC wise, the Vuelta was as expected. Stage-wise, we did nothing. Matthews with a good 2nd place in the Points is more or less our highlight of the race. We need to improve in the final races of the season.

Thanks for the reports and kind words, Bikex. Maybe the crash played a small role, but all season long Majka failed to make the final selection on the really tough stages. 4th is a really good result. Plus, Tao has just been amazing, two really good GTs, two top 10 results, and even clinching the U25 classification this time, by just a minute in the end. Wearing white since stage 3, so lots more points for him. Plus some depth scoring from Ruben, Duarte, Simon, I think even Lowsley gets a single point... I hope it's enough for this focus race to have been a success.
Congrats to the teams fighting against relegation, really good results for them. Probably not enough for CCC because the rest scored well, but 3rd in the Vuelta plus that great result from Nowak in the Sprint Challenge. Congrats to Nibali for completing his GT trophy collection. I dare say he's been lucky in the ITTs all season, first against Quintana, now against Herrada.

Thanks mate, I hope so too! Unlucky for you in the final TT, but as you said that's how it goes with PCM.

I can't say I'm dissapointed with my team results. Nowak overperformed in Challenge while Komisarek underperformed. TVG actually finished his both GTs on 3rd position which is fantastic (still better than real CCC). But I think it's not enough to hold on in WT. It was fun experience but I guess I'm back in CT
Thanks for all the fantastic work and results.

Martin was never a factor in the GC, but he still got some individual results to make this a decent race. Bouhanni making it to the final in Quebec was the goal, finishing fourth there is unfortunate. Thanks Bikex!

Thanks and congrats to Bikex, Nibbles on great week 3 form.
Chevrier a bit disappointing in Spain.
Cav couldn't beat Kittel twice but 2nd in the Sprint Challenge is a great result for him.

Thanks Bikex
Only six stages of Avenir posted though...
We've got a decent gap to the relegation zone after September but it's still not a very good season. Had hoped to finish higher after the overhaul in the offseason.

Rankings look much better now for us, although we have still had our fair amount of crashes and bad luck and both Herrada and VDP could have achieved more.
October should be wrappes up quickyl fyi, all races done.

Wow, the rankings never disappoint. Three riders with over 1000 points each, not in my wildest dreams... Second place in the rankings still highly contested. Credit Suisse below the line again, CCC has come really close, too. Plus vali thought the prestige ranking decides relegation and his team is above Sugoi there. Promotion race is still really tight, too.

Either I need some new glasses or there are 2 WT teams below me Ripley.
But yeah the gap is basically nonexistent now and there is only 3 races left at WT level. Paris-Tours we probably won't do anything so all hope on Villella and our hilly squad to perform like in the Ardennes and not like the last few hilly races.
Anyway with PCM it's basically about luck at this point, so may the luckier stay up dominox.
