Andy Schleck was badly held up by Schumacher's crash on that stage
Edit: it seems that was already pointed out, oh well

Nah that is not correct... Maybe they didn't go 100% in the chase after he made the gap, but they were definately trying to follow him when he made the move, and he was simply flying past them all... Impressive. Also impressed by Nibali... Less impressed by Samuel Sanchez however |

How much of Ricco's attack today was to keep De La Fuente in the polka dot jersey? While keeping the first place points out of Lang's hands may not have been the primary reason, SDV had to know the descent would be dificult for Ricco to hold on.
While I don't think Ricco will win the TDF, I do think he's got a great shot at winning the climbing classification. He's shown well on the climbs so far. |

by the way, before the stage riccò admitted he received one of the AFLD's famous letters saying "your blood values are abnormal". Saunier denied, but Riccò himself admitted.
or at least that's what some random dutch website says

I dont think Ricco had de la Fuente in mind when he attacked, he wants stage wins (And maybe the young riders jersey)

I think it isnt saunier main goal..Richie Rich will do what ever he likes...and beside remember de la Fuente last year polka dot rally (or it was 2 years ago)..he was holding polka..and was absolutly exausted in Alps..even trouble to keep up with peloton..and with face what you was seeing today..almost like crying |

I was just curious... the way de la Fuente dropped back and Ricco attacked seemed pretty well planned... and the result worked out very well for SDV. Seemed like there might have been some forethought in the maneuver... beyond just Ricco going for a win. |

de la Fuente only dropped back because he was unable to keep on going.

Not sure how true that was. He was able to sprint for the mountain sprint a few km later and took enough points to secure his jersey (though it wouldn't have been if Ricco hadn't taken first).
It seemed to me like de la Fuente sat up realizing he couldn't catch Lang, not because he couldn't stay with the group he was in. |

He got natural high values. He and Cunego got papers for it I believe and Cunego is also on that list of abnormal blood values.
