Hoping to improve my 6th to 3-4-5 places hopefully, still a long wayto go but my vroome and chaves looking pretty decent in the GC. On the other hand, Atapuma did not surprise me getting all those points, while brambilla is doing decent. While bonifazio is my only big problem,de gendt and valverde doing what i planned. Currently league top 5, and hoping to continue

I'm 4th in the PCM league. Still a long way to go but hopefully with Quintana, Valverde and Froome I'm guaranteed at least two in the top 3 overall.
Just need Atapuma to start stage hunting and Meintjes to turn up and do something (Assuming he's still in the race). |

I can't see anyone else being stronger that those 3 unless they completely blow up in the next couple of weeks. Chaves has disappointed so far. Contador is losing time every time they go uphill. Who else is going to break into the top 3?
Also the final tt will be a big chance for Froome to make up significant time on everyone else. |

I think it's a fairly safe assumption, I hope
I can't see anyone else being stronger that those 3 unless they completely blow up in the next couple of weeks...
...or get sick or crash or have a badly timed mechanical or have a post rest day reaction or start to fade with accumulated fatigue from the season (note Valverde is almost immune to this particular one given great form from January to October for years...somehow...), get taken out by a moto and start running up a mountain etc. etc. etc.
Some serious fate tempting going on there!

If only I had picked someone better than Meintjes I might have been in with a shout overall.
Froome, Quintana and Valverde all in the top 3 yesterday. It's looking good unless something drastic happens. |

I actually have a realistic chance at being dead last, 14040 of 14040, in the vuelta. I would like to think it takes equal amount of skill to spend your full budget and still get last as it does to win the whole thing. |
