Vien, why don't YOU run the streaming and set it all up if it's so easy?! |

Do you think it's hard to set up a stream then? I've never done it with PCs, but often enough with capture cards to know it just needs a few clicks.
Problem is I'll need the DB, so I get to see the potentials and stuff. |

Lenny please try to help, you shouldn't be raging, this is just a game!
We just wanted to share our ideas, what's the problem? |

I'm not raging, and it's great that people have so many ideas and so much enthusiasm.
I'm just concerned that Kentaurus already has a big work load running the game as it is. As he says, if we want to stream races, one team will lose out as he'll need to use a dummy team. Plus he needs to have jerseys for all of us.
If we can find a solution that means other people to take on board some of the workload, it will make the game more manageable for Kentaurus, and hopefully more sustainable in the long-term, as it means he doesn't burn out from all the work he's doing.

The +1 team problem is not a problem as you can add teams to races, and I think lot of people would help.
Me not, because I don't have PCM11 and my computer is not that good. |

I don't know what this post is really worth but I though OlegTinkov had a feature in his womenbase db for pcm 2010 where you could actually see 3D races without being able to give your team any orders...

If Kentaurus was to do the races in 3d then he'd have to run every single race as a separate race, not being able to sim through the season as his original plan was, not using the progression as stated in his original post and basically totally changing the time scales that this game will work on. It takes most of a year to get through a season on the Management game, and that's what you'd be looking at if you tried streaming all the races.
If you want that, then join the Management game the next time there's an opening lol |

+1 It's a lot of work at any stage streaming etc is just adding to an already expanding workload. |

More than anything though is that streaming will take a lot of time, and I'm trying to move seasons along quickly.
Edit: Or even doing 3d races....

I would't watch 3d race streams anyway, don't have the time atm.
And i would choose to use the time i got to watch actual racing anyways. You know like the giro, really hope i get time to watch the stage tomorrow.

Okay, let's say a season would take a maximum of two months. Then you can plan the season as follows:
Week 1-January-MSR (MSR will be streamed during the weekend)
Week 2-MSR-April (RVV+PR Sat, AGR+LBL Sun)
Week 3-May (Giro stage 17+18 Sat, 19+20 Sun)
Week 4-June
Week 5-July (Tour stage 11+12 Sat, 17+18 Sun)
Week 6-August (Vuelta stage 14+15 Sat, 18+19 Sun)
Week 7-September+October (WC/Lombardia?)
Week 8-Transfers/Off-Season
Note that I'm just trying to help, and that I have no idea how you will do this or if you'll be able to stream every weekend. But I'm a bit scared that only simulating will make this a bit boring, and I really like the streaming idea.
Thoughts on this? Also, I wouldn't mind to see if I can stream, but as I said then I'd be the only one to have the DB.

Personally, I like teh stages you've selected to be visualised, would only say one thing, I'd prefer to see screens fo stages, or a short video than streaming, it will take less time, and i think that streaming is a massive amount of extra work

Remember that, if you take pics, you also have to play in 3D. Just sayin' |

Agreed, maybe let some stages out of the GTs and place Lombardia and the WC in...

But you could play in x8, which would be harder to do in a stream.

I won
Edit: Yes, but you don't have to pause and make pics. Plus you don't always have to be there while streaming, #1 motor cam could do as well

#1 motocam, yeah right... you wouldn't be able to see the 3rd group with maybe the maillot jaune so you'd miss some action?

Are we really debating this, it's 100 % up to Kentaurus how he will present it.
He started out saying only simulation, then he ben pressured in to 3D and pics of some races. And know you want live streaming, thats going to be a real workload for him.
I'm just saying itøs good to be hyped of this project but let's stick with getting it up and running. Instead of making it to ambitious, that will only increase the chance of the pseudo man game burning out.

And timezones issues... Come on. Euro+USA can watch at the same time, especially if you stream during the weekends. And I have the feeling some Australians like to stay up as well, especially when there's a GT.
On topic: How many haven't submitted their list yet?
Well streaming would take a lot of effort and Kentaurus did say it would only be simultaion and a season would take roughly a month. He's already puting in a lot of effort s it is and I don't think it'd be good, taking screens in a race is hard enough if he chooses to do that.
And yeah, it's 2:30 in them orning here, i'm always up late
