Sanchez did extremely well. He is clearly in very good shape.
Gesink and Fuglsang limited the damage very well. Basso was a dissapointment I think. |

I wasn't. Completely flat tt, no hills whatsoever! And in rain? I think Gesink did a normal TT. If it was hilly I would have been dissapointed (top 15 should be possible then).
Taaramae is injured (i think) |

Taaramae is injured (i think)
Taaramäe said he is aching all over from the crash in Liege. Also he had a heatstroke yesterday.
He really has no luck, he had a little cold when he went from warm Southern France to cold Nedherlands and now he cant get used to the heat in Spain. And I think the cold today didnt do him any good.
Also he probably held back a little, he was going to take it easy until he feels better and then go for a stage win.

I disagree. I really think the GC guys all finished where I expected them, with the exception of Basso's poor performance.

Martins been unlucky with crashes so it would not surprise me if he is carrying some form of injury

Halfway into the stage. Break has 13 minutes. 100kms to go. Moncoutié is in the break.
Also, A. Schleck abandoned today, which is no surprise whatsoever
