I'm having some different problems with the DB. I run Vista 64 bit, so I tend to have problems with PCM, but anyway: I am getting a crash on the 3D race of the 3rd stage of the Tour of California, I can sim past it fine though. Also, the 3D stage for the last stage of the Mallorca Challenge is screwed up, the road is on a spit of land sticking up out of the ocean for most of the race. Also, I thought this DB had updated stages for the Tour Down Under, but it seems to only have the one climb of the Willunga hill.
almost the same here. the two last stages of Amgen tour of california crashes with about 40 km to go. It´s okey to simulate them but 3D race just crashes. |

I am getting a lot of 3D crashes generally, to be honest. |

As a rule of thumb: If the game crashes in 3d mode it is usually not a problem with the stage itself
Try to turn down your graphics |

My computer is really very good. I know that PCM is buggy as hell, but my rig should be able to handle it without breaking a sweat. I'll try anything once, though.

If the stage loads, there's no problems with it. |

I know CrueTrue has probably got his hands full, so for now, I wouldn't mind trying your fix.
I can find both fields you changed but not sure what to do with either.
I assume for "stage_current" you increment by 1
Not sure about "gene_i_date"
i skipped the whole 08.06. so no results there for any races and stages. I think its possible to do the same without skipping the 08.06. by just skipping to the next day by this method.
1.open the savegame with hannes converter or full editor and open the tables "sta_stage" and "gam_config"
2.got to "sta stage" and sort the columns by gene_i_computed_day
3.search for stages from 09.06. take the first and note down the "idstage" value and the "gene_i_computed_date" value. You need them for the gam_config.
4.Now go to gam_config and insert in "fkIDstage_current" the "idstage" you got from the "sta_stage" then go to "gene_i_date" columns and insert the "gene_i_computed_date" you got from the "sta_stage"
5. Save the table and then save the savegame-db, dont forget to choose the gam_config in the save-process.

Thanks alot!! so far so good!!

No need, I suppose, to mess with the saved game I sent you. I will see how things go from here.
Still early in the life of V3.2, I am sure I will restart several more careers before I settle in... |

Sorry if someone already asked it and it was already answered, here's my problem:
When I am Extracting the files from the .rar, I get this error and PCMdaily09DBV3 isn't extracted (V3.2 is alright):
! PCMdaily09DBV3.2Full.rar: Fail of CRC in PCMdaily09DBV3.exe. The file is corrupted.
Any idea of what the problem is? I tried turning off Firewall as my only try but nothing happened.

Corrupted download, Ak4. Please use a download manager if you're downloading from PCM.daily. Otherwise, use one of the mirrors which are listed in the news section. |

I downloaded already from MegaUpload and PCM Benelux, actually I didn't try to download from Daily as I was getting slow speed..
I'll follow your advise and try download it once more, anyway I will only be able to next Friday and then I'll tell you if it worked

I'm having some trouble and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to alleviate my problems. In the Tour of Wellington (only race I've tried thus far in a new career started after 3.2 was installed) I am getting a crash every single time the stage loads and is about to hit the race itself.
I've looked around on here and was surprised to see people even got past the first weeks of a career without running into this problem and couldn't find anything already posted.
I already tried backing up my save game and "resetting" PCM by deleting the PCM08 folder in My Documents and then starting the game and quitting and putting the save game back in etc. Also tried lowering the graphics (Ran V2 at full graphics with no problems save a cursor moving absurdly slow which i also wonder about but is for another thread, anyway i doubt my machine just can't handle the graphics setting is what i was getting at)
Any help would be much appreciated I was very excited to get this going and start a new career but am just kinda bummed out now.
Thanks
Shifty

When does it crash? During the loading? If so, when? |

Either way, using a download manager is strongly recommended. |

Are you sure it goes to 150 and not just 149? If it stops at 149, it sounds like an equipment problem. |

I'm not sure to be honest I'll check again, but now that i think about it i have done more races that than i did the Aussie champs and Cancer Council. I'm not sure if it could have anything to do with it but AIS has a pink box for it's shirt instead of a mini shirt too.

Team AIS or the team with AIS as abbreviation (which is Aisan Racing Team)?
If it's the latter, you didn't install the V3.2 Update correctly, and that'd also explain the crash you're having in Wellington. Subway - Avanti participates in that race, but they had an equipment problem in the original release (3.0) - which is fixed in V3.2.
