Hehe, to keep realism though you would need to change at the end of 08. But of course maybe not going for realism. |

While SN and Guido are just pourin' it on I've gotten completely fed up with this story and have been for a long time, which you might have noticed. First of all the team choice of CSC is for me lousy, since I have raced numourous CSC careers in my private PCM careers, so this is just basically the same thing as always and I'm tired of it to be honest.
I want to do a story, but not a story like this about a team I have raced with all too much (the only other team I have ever raced a career with it Skil-Shimano). So I'm pullin' the plug here as I just can't pull myself together to get this going again. Another reason for this is the way I write reports, it's just all too comprehensive and they end up taking more than an hour to do (the Paris-Roubaix one took about 2-2½ hours).
So I'm starting a new story at some point with SN'ish and Guido'ish race reports as that works for me the best. And the story will probably revolve around one rider as the PCM world needs a new story like the one SunMade made with Saul Raisin, as the was my favourite story of all time. So peace out from here, but I'll be back very soon actually.

I look forward to seeing and reading what you have to offer! As you and SN are the main motivators behind me starting my story way back, and actually still continuing it now i wish you all the best in your new venture! thank you for the enjoyment i got from reading your story.

Sounds good! PCM can get very old if your not changing it up every once in awhile.
BTW can you link me to the raisin story? I've never seen it before, but i used to see him when we were training in Georgia at the same time

If anyone can find a link for the Saul Raisin story then I would be eternally gratefull and that member will have their name in my signature forever
It was my favourite ever story as well. 100% the best 1 rider story ever, and then there's Alex's Rabobank story which I loved, but that's still on the PPDB boards so I know where that is
If you can make a story half as good as SunMade's then it will be brilliant

I have feared this day ever since the posting became increasingly sporadic after the Giro.
First off though, congrats on one of the finest stories ever produced in the pcm world. Second, its great that you'll be returning with a new strory - I'll read it, thats for sure. Finally, I hope you enjoy reading my story, its very much inspired by this one (just check out the screenshot format, I hope you don't mind )
Farewell CSC! |

@ rjc: Thank you
@ t-baum: as Addy explains the link is MIA
@ Addy: I hope it can be just a fraction as good as SunMade's
@ stuey: Don't mind at all, I actually got it from JustinWK, so he has the "copyrights"

I'm actually working on the first update right now. It's about a danish rider, that's all I want to reveal.
Oh and it's not Matti Breschel or any other CSC rider

Hopefully not Alex Rasmussen either, as I'm not sure how interesting it will be to have a 1 rider, sprinter story. I think it only really works with climbers, but I can't name any young Danish climbers

It's not Alex Rasmussen, but the guy I've chosed isn't a real climber, he can climb but not good enough to win a Grand Tour ever.
Be my guest, keep guessing

Jakob Piil? He's like 34 and is retired I think, that wouldn't make a very good 1 rider story

Hey, best I could come up with. No reason a one-rider story couldn't be an old guy. It would lack the development side of things, but you could still tell a story. |
