I missed it, but it must have been really frustrating for us Danes to watch our guy get dropped on a short 3 km hill |

Well, the first 1.5 km were more than 10 %. He was in the front group all the time until 500 kilometers from the top - the climb was 4 kilometers. Nick Nuyens was quite surprising
Never.

That climb was more more than i expected too. Nuyens was fairly surprising. Also i hated it how Arroyo just completely gave up after he realised he had no chance of winning. |

Err....I think you'll find that as soon as Levi was at the front, the attacks started due to the 'pace' he was setting....
That's what blew the race apart.
Err...you clearly have your bias. And of course I have mind. But what i saw was him blowing the race apart. If you choose to selectively ignore that. Fine. But he pretty much thinned the field and took his turn at the front which you asked me to state. |

I fell asleep with 70 kilometres to and woke up with 10 kilometres to go. That was the best thing that happened during that stage for me.

So, Ferrari has published his numbers from the Angliru-stage - and the time for Contador to climb Angliru was 41.40
All in all, his climbing time was 40 seconds inferior to Heras' from 2002. That is positive - and will hopefully turn out negative in the lab. His performance on the last kilometers were a little better than Heras' though - but remember that the weather was terrible that day in 2002.
If Contador's VAM-numbers are converted to a climb of 8%, his performance would be almost equal to Sastre's on the Alpe d'Huez - the same goes for Contador's wattages which are little higher than Sastre's numbers in the summer while the VAM's are a little lower.
Never.
