As for Atlantius: 10/10... Love that song!
Oh and dont forget that the Collins video I posted was a live concert, not a studio version... And If you refer to different artist performing In the Air Tonight, then you should not be allowed to walk around on this planet...
Staying with the topic of ex-Genesis Members...
No worries, the next time, Ill return to the 80's songs
7/10 Nice relaxing music... Nothing I would listen to very often though...
Well, upon hearing that Michelle Jenneke is going to be in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, I watched her heat from the Barcelona WC'S last year... Now the song is stuck in my head, so: Throwback Tuesday everyone!!!
(I promised 80's music, and it will come... But first some mid 90's pop!!! )
And just for those who havent seen the Michelle Jennecke Video:
After two great 80's live performances, REM seems just ok. But "Everybody hurts" is much better than "Bad Day" or "Man on the Moon". 7/10
Radiohead frontman has a solo project and this song kind of touch my heart at the time (about my actual wife, when the lyrics had nothing about that, but seemed like) and nowadays with the financial intervention my country is going through this is exactly what some people feel.
7/10 - I really liked it! It's not exactly "cathcy" in the traditional sense, but that's the best way to describe it. Some parts I loved, some parts I liked, no parts that I hated!
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"
Personally, I think this one is a masterpiece, but you'll have to read the lyrics to understand why:
Spoiler
I've been 'round for a long time
And I learned along the way:
If you wanna go on the radio
There are words you just can't say!
Well, I thought hard about it
And I found a way around it
Help me go on the radio, you gotta say the words I can't.
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't.
Come on, ma'am, won't you give me your hand
And say the words I can't?
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't
Down in Carolina
I met a girl with a nice [...]
So I reached down between us
And I whipped out my [...]
Skipped right past the suckin'
And got right down to [...]
She turned and said: "I gotta ask,
Would you slip it into my [...]?"
Help me go on the radio and say the words I can't.
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't.
Come on, ma'am, won't you give me your hand
And say the words I can't?
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't
Her husband was a trucker
He was a filthy mother[...]
I didn't wanna wrastle
With this no-good stinkin' [...]
I heard him come through the kitchen door
When I was bangin' his filthy [...]
I knew I'd end up in a ditch
If he caught me ridin' his [...]
Help me go on the radio and say the words I can't.
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't.
Come on, ma'am, won't you give me your hand
And say the words I can't?
You got to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't
"Mercy, please!" I told him,
But he grabbed me by the [...]
And he did something heinous
He exposed his [...]
I said "I don't mean to seem crass,
But why are you buttering up your [...]?"
He said "My wife's a beard, and she lured you here.
'Cause I'm queer and I love it in the [...]"
Help me go on the radio by saying the words I can't.
You have to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song that ain't.
Sir and ma'am, thanks for lending a hand.
By saying the words I can't.
You have to sing along to make this song
The dirtiest song,
The filthiest song,
The dirtiest song that ain't.
