Anyway, even Cyanide had their hand in putting half/fictional riders in the DB.
CyM2 had half the cya dev team in as free transfers
Then there were a few editions with Jonathan Bridge and Miguel Indorain...
My favourite Free Agent back then.
He was a pretty good puncheur and always helped my Wiesenhof career.
Thinking about that time it`s funny to play with all those low value sprinters Greipel/Ciolek etc.
Yeah Wiesenhof, later they also had Wesemann. Fun team to play with.
Also Maxbo Bianchi (with Hagen) was always fun (but you needed a ppdb or pcm spain db by Dani for that).
Rabo Continental
Thüringer Energie was also always full of nice talents

I always used PPDB back then.
And to be at least a bit of topic.
Zoidl/Sepulveda really looking great so far. Really looking forward to see if they can do well on Mt.Faron against the French Chavanel/Peraud.
Cummings also would be interesting. Possibly being back in his 2011 Algarve form, he could perform better than you might think today.

Bridgey, I had forgotten about him. Good ol' times when the Cya moderators had a Mortal Kombat guy as their avatars.
But Bridge used to be a rider, IIRC. Not sure at what level he rode though ?
Check my strava followers (or followed people) for him.
I'm not sure when he stopped, but he was a beast at the regional level in the U17 category, he took part in the national championships, but I don't know how it fared for him. Then he was in a special section in high school to get time for training, with a trainer, etc. (same as me, but in a different place).
I'm certain he was never in the national juniors team, nor in the U23.
Since then he's been doing triathlons and was the assumed best cyclist among the Cyanide guys.
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong
Zoidl was in the final selection in the front group, finished just a little bit behind Cummings. The 6th and last guy in that selection was Silin

Sepulveda could've won the whole thing if he hadn't jumped the gun with an early attack

And it's getting worst every year.
But you're not that far behind, you just started playing CyM/PCM later (or joined the players community later). You too will get grey hair or lose your hair soon, don't be jealous

Where the hell is Barguil? I want to take him in a fantasy team for the classics but he doesn't seem to be in shape at all.
No legs, first stage races to forget, many efforts earlier this week #itsgoingtopay #onlyfebruary #stillalongseasonEdited by Aquarius on 16-02-2014 17:46

We're basically the PCM communities furniture. Like CrueTrue as well.. meh
Anyhow.. really wish Sepulveda would've won this. How awesome would that be. An argentinian winner in a european 2.1 race... has that happened before?

Haedo winning a couple of 1.1 races is probably the closest to that
So Van Hecke takes the KoM jersey.
Group of 4 (Van Hecke, Wallays (both TSV), Boem (BAR) and Bazzana (UHC)) with a constant ~4min gap now. Lotto Belisol chasing for Greipel.
