Thank you..
Stage 6
Sorry for the few screens but this stage was (is) completly broken at the end.. i even got an pcm error message saying pcm.exe found an error.. fortunally the game kept running until the end but got no newspaper and had to close the game..
This is it.. J.Acevedo has 25" seconds to play with.. we were already asked if Janier will be able to keep the lead, well.... i guess we will find that out at the end..
.. one thing could we tell at the start.. it´s going to be a hard day.. V.Isaychev(RVL) and B.Day(UHC) decide to attack right after the start.. they will be joined later by another 2 riders..
We lead the pack entire stage, the break rides with 4´38"gap, half stage done..
Peloton reach the kom sprint with D.Cataldo 8th GC and F.Taborre 9th GC launching an attack.. breakaway still in front.. (after this sprint, stage problems start)
With a short descent before the climb where finish line is, we quickly reach the final sprint.. D.Cataldo and R.Kiserlovski will fight for stage win.. J.Acevedo and F.Duarte follow..
Cataldo wins, Kiserlovski 2nd and Acevedo will make 3rd but with a small gap to these 2.. remember that Acevedo has 25" seconds..

Too bad such a small gap keeps Janier away from the lead...
[ please don't blame me for being a little bit happy anyway ]

Aaah so close! That is pretty unlucky but anyway another podium for Acevedo. Is there another chance to get the jersey back? |

*kiserlovski01 - I was sure you would be happy .. i find it nice that you defend your favourite rider, np
*Batista15 - Less luck there but i´m happy with the result... it´s the 1st time Jamis races in Turkey and getting a 2nd overall it´s great. Last 2 stages are really flat, so if nothing bad happens, Acevedo will be 2nd.
*sutty68 - Well, such things happen sometimes.. i think we will have to let this one go... maybe next season.

Stage 7
4 riders formed the breakaway..
.. and they managed to sprint for stage win.. F.Ferrari(CJR) wins with peloton on his back.
Stage 8 / Last Stage
With the breakaway caught on the last km, S.Modolo takes the win and green..

To lose the race by just five seconds is hard to take but Acevedo will be pleased with his overall performance here in Turkey |

*Batista15 - We must be happy with that.. Thanks for the support
*kiserlovski01 - Thanks
*sutty68 - I talked with Acevedo and i can say he´s happy. Thanks.
R.Andriato makes his 2nd season appearance.. he´s our bet for the mass sprint finish..
8 men breakaway, strong enought to bring it until the end.. F.Duarte, M.Rubiano, A.Cardoso... these are the strongest ones here, from our side it´s G.East..
71kms to go, it looks like peloton is very close to the break but there´s 3´32" gap between them..
3kms.. he´s already known from his last kms attacks, R.Van Zandbeek(RIJ) decides to do it again..
Last turn..
Zandbeek has some advantage over the pack wich we lead..
The pack comes very fast... Zandbeek gives it all....
.. but he´s caught.. E.Garcia and R.Selig lead now..
R.Andriato(left) leaves R.Carpio´s wheel too late..
E.Garcia(EUS) wins... R.Andriato finishes 8th..

2013 Winner
J.Acevedo won last year´s edition with almost 5´00" gap to the 2nd placed L.Craddock... both riders will have another chance to show their talent this year.

Thanks all for your support.. Well, i would say this year´s edition might be more challenging because most of the teams have signed stronger riders, last year stronger ones have developed well,( L.Craddock 75 mo), I.Izagirre(76mo) will be here leading Jelly Belly squad... just to give an idea, it won´t be easy..
Stage 1
J.P.McCartney(BPC), B.J.Maynes(JHB) and R.Carpenter(HSD) form the break today..
They reach 2nd Int.Sprint with 3´50"gap, Maynes and McCartney fought for the points with Jamis rider being the fastest here.. Carpenter is droped here with 54kms to go..
The duo rides really well together and as they reach the 20kms mark, their gap drops to 2´54"..
They are finally caught with 2,7kms to go.. it was a great ride. At this point, J.Acevedo takes the lead..
Final sprint.. I.Izagirre is the only one who can follow Acevedo..
The spanish rider seems to have good legs today... he´s getting closer..
.. but J.Acevedo has pretty nice legs too and takes the win..

Thanks mate.
Stage 2
30kms to go.. We, Optum and 3M joined efforts to bring the breakaway down.. 2´18"gap..
All efforts payed off as the break is caught just in time for the final sprint..
J.Acevedo didn´t made the best turn and looses a little ground.. M.Mohoric(TNN) is in front.. I.Izagirre and A.Marque follow..
Marque is out of the fight for stage win.. Izagirre tries to beat Mohoric..
.. but the young Slovenian talent keeps his speed and wins.. Acevedo is 4th..
